2014 Audi R8 V10 | Review | Test Drive | Audi R8 | Continental Audi
For 2014, the R8 V-10 gains a new Plus model. Not to be confused with the
ladies in a Lane Bryant ad, Plus here refers to the extra 25 horsepower that Audi coaxed
from the 5.2-liter V-10. Basically, it's the Lamborghini-grade unit found
in the Gallardo LP560-4. Firmer springs and dampers, inspired by the
rarely-seen-outside-captivity R8 GT, are seriously stiff, bordering on
annoyingly bouncy. We'd much rather live with the standard R8's supple
But the biggest change is the newly available seven-speed dual-clutch
automatic called S tronic. A $7800 option on all R8s, it replaces the
clunky automated-manual transmission known as the R tronic. With the S,
part-throttle upshifts are free of any twitchiness, giving the auto R8 the
manners to live in traffic. For maximum acceleration, the S tronic offers
launch control that holds the engine at 4500 rpm before engaging the
first-gear clutch. The R8's owner's manual suggests finding a clear, empty
road before using launch control, as it might cause unwanted attention.
Good advice. Accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds with the
quarter-mile passing in 11.4 seconds at 126 mph certainly got our
attention. That's two-tenths quicker to 60 and in the quarter than the
525-hp R8 R tronic we previously tested.

2014 Audi S4 Quattro Manual - WR TV POV Test Drive 1/2
This week we row our own gears in a manual gearbox-equipped Audi S4
Quattro. This Misano Red example comes equipped with the Black Optic
package, which includes 19-inch wheels, summer tires and high-gloss black
The S4's 3.0-liter supercharged V6 churns out 333 horsepower and 325
pound-feet of torque and is matched to a close-ratio six-speed transmission
with a dual mass flywheel, which then routes the grunt to a Quattro sports
differential, making for quite an entertaining drive

earbuds. The audio in this video was recorded with in-ear binaural
microphones. Because these microphones record sound from inside the ear,
playing the sound through headphones gives the sensation of 3D sound. All
of this translates to a very realistic listening experience.

The video was shot at Alameda Point in Alameda, California, highlighting
the sights and sounds of Ken's Audi and the modifications he's performed to
it. Just some of the mods done are a fully built engine by 034Motorsports
including Tial R770 turbos, 18 inch
Rotiform wheels, STaSIS Street Sport coilovers, Southbend stage 4 clutch,
and a JHM center differential.

Audi S4 (2010) on autobahn checking out riced out 5-series, then doing two top speed pulls
Me driving the new Audi S4 on the autobahn. I was transporting it from my
company's main dealer to the dealer where i work part time. I Gave it a
little pull to see what the governor would kick in at and it sucked!!
155mph. On my racelogic that u can see mounted on the windsheild. It was
good for a 5.0second 0-60mph, and firstname.lastname@example.org. Not bad for 333hp of
supercharged audi engineering.

2014 Audi RS5 vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 507 Coupe! - Head 2 Head Ep. 51
