A collection of footage from this year's (2012) Goodwood Revival.
Perfect weather, excellent racing and priceless cars.
One of the few racing events that will completely overshadow the grid value of Formula 1.
Goodwood Revival 2012 Fordwater Trophy Race Onboard Turner MKII
Footage shows me (Ben Adams) racing a Turner-Ford MKII at the 2012 Goodwood Revival in the Fordwater Trophy.
Started 9th, finished 7th.
The footage shows from the green flag lap through to the end of the race. Unfotunately I spent most the the race alone as I was unable to keep up with the leading pack but was a good distance ahead of the rest of the field. However, it was a great effort from a little car and this shows a good example of what it is like to race at Goodwood.
Sorry about the camera positioning and sound quality!

Mercedes-Benz at the Goodwood Revival 2012
Mercedes-Benz and Auto Union racers from the 1930s took to the track for the first time at the Goodwood Revival between 14 and 16 September, some 75 years after the Silver Arrows first appeared in the UK.
All the Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrows that appeared at the Goodwood Revival are original cars -- each with extensive racing history behind them. They were driven by ex-DTM driver Roland Asch, Le Mans winner Jochen Mass, five-times DTM champion Bernd Schneider, three-time Formula One World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart and his son, ex-F3000 racer and team manager Paul Stewart.
Among the cars that appeared were the W 25 (1934), the W 125 (1937), a W 154 (1939) and a W 165 (1939). Power outputs range from the 254 hp of the 1.5-litre V8 W 165 to the 600 hp achieved by the mighty W 125. All were by far the most advanced machines of their kind with innovative suspension and drivetrains meaning they were highly successful and effective racing machines.
