A collection of footage from this year's (2012) Goodwood Revival.
Perfect weather, excellent racing and priceless cars.
One of the few racing events that will completely overshadow the grid value of Formula 1.
Goodwood Revival 2012 Fordwater Trophy Race Onboard Turner MKII
Footage shows me (Ben Adams) racing a Turner-Ford MKII at the 2012 Goodwood
Revival in the Fordwater Trophy.
Started 9th, finished 7th.
The footage shows from the green flag lap through to the end of the race.
Unfotunately I spent most the the race alone as I was unable to keep up
with the leading pack but was a good distance ahead of the rest of the
field. However, it was a great effort from a little car and this shows a
good example of what it is like to race at Goodwood.
Sorry about the camera positioning and sound quality!

When lapping back-markers during the RAC Tourist Trophy Celebration race of
the 2012 Goodwood Revival, Joe Colasacco in the Maserati Tipo 151 dipped a
rear tyre onto the wet grass spinning into the barriers, heavily damaging
the Maserati Tipo 151 of Lawrence Auriana.
St. Mary's Trophy Races, Goodwood Revival 2012
A collection of footage from the St. Mary's Trophy races for saloon cars of
the fifties at the 2012 Goodwood Revival. These hugely varied tin-tops
always provide exciting on-track action and this year featured a fine
battle between cars as flamboyant as Mk1 Jaguars, Austin A40s, a fine BMW
700 and the unique V8, rear engined Tatra.
Freddie March Memorial Trophy Twilight Race, Goodwood Revival 2012
In the spirit of the Goodwood nine hour sports car races of the fifties and
sixties, the 2012 Goodwood Revival played host to some of the finest
European and American race cars in the thrilling Freddie March Memorial
Trophy race. This two driver, ninety minute twilight race echoed intense
battles between Jaguar C-Types, Aston Martins and Austin Healeys on classic
period tracks including Le Mans and was won by Alex Buncombe and John Young
in The Jaguar Heritage Racing C-Type, followed closely by the Cooper
Bristol Mk2 of John Ure and Nick Wigely. Rounding off the top three were
Peter Snowdon and Adrian Willmott in an Austin-Healy 100S.
