My 1990 Eagle Talon DSM AWD Turbo
Just picked up this car from a good buddy of mine. It's a 1990 Eagle Talon
all-wheel drive, turbo, intercooled,
5-speed manual. Those who are familiar with DSM and how easy it is to make
them fast, you would like this car.
I'm new to the DSM world, so give me tips and ideas to maintain it and make
it faster. Let's start off with
suspension, I want to upgrade the suspension, so tell me a budget set of
coilovers to get.

Cylinder Head 103 - Deck Tech
How to clean, inspect, and determine what you can do with your cylinder
head. Also how WHAT you do affects your oil system. There are many
variables at play when you make changes to your cylinder head deck from
your oil system, compression ratio, your valve timing and potentially even
disaster. 'best not to go that far with it. Watch this video and avoid it
if you're building your own 4g63 head.
The differences between this head and a 1g head are mostly related to port
sizes on the intake and Exhaust, and
different sized head bolt holes. The 7-bolt uses an 11mm bolt, and a
6-bolt uses 12mm. 1g heads have gigantic intake ports, but aside from
that, valve geometry, oil system functionality and the service limits are
all the same.

Trying out the new JMF Drag sheet metal intake manifold, tune needs some
tweaking for that larger plenum over the Magnus but it was still running in
the mid 9's.

1997 Eagle Talon TSI AWD 16G Turbo 23 PSI Driving on the highway
My friend and I going for a drive in his 1997 AWD Eagle Talon with a turbo. He's running about 23 lbs of Boost making around 350+ WHP. You can hear
the waste gate open as he gets into the Boost. This engine was completely rebuilt by
the privious owner. Rear seats have been removed, as well as some of the
carpeting. A strut brace is where the seats once were. This car also
features Sparco bucket seats but no race harness :(. Exterior, mostly stock
except for a carbon fiber hood and matte black painted factory wheels. This
was filmed in Pittsburgh, PA on a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition on 1080p

First time out for the season Tony dips past his previous personal best
with a 11.15 @ 127 on the SC6152 with only a quick base street tune on
ECMlink SD. Tony is just a better 60' away from the 10 second barrier.
Unfortunately, mechanical issues cut his day short and left a whole lot
left on the table.

Turned the Boost down to 26psi from
I've got an AEM EMS in this car.
That day it went 10.6@130mph on pump gas.
Few weeks later it went 9.6@148mph on "race gas"
MONSTER TURBO 1200hp 1G Eagle Talon
One of the craziest AWD builds we've seen yet showed up at Street Car
Takeover OKC and put on a show! Making it all the way to the finals, even
while down on power, Darren Thomas made some badass passes in this 1G DESM,
as deep as the 5.60's range in the 1/8 and the car typically is in the 5.40
E/T's. This car is no joke!
We hope to see it back out again once the car is all sorted out!
2014 Shootout 9.58 @ 155mph Semi-Finals QS32
First time out on the new setup nets a new best of 9.58 @ 155mph with a
less then ideal 1.72 60' time. With more Boost and a much better 60', the car should
dip down closer to the goal of 8's.
