1972 Buick Skylark
Here's an amazing survivor Skylark! It has a great running original 350ci
V8 and turbo 350 automatic transmission,
power steering, power disc brakes, factory air conditioning, and upgraded
dual Flowmaster Exhaust! Everything
under the hood is stock! It does have a new battery and new points though!
The interior is all original except the carpet has been replaced at some
point, and the dashboard remains unmolested and in complete working order.
All the lights, wipers, signals, and the blower are working great, it has
nice glossy green paint, and very nice glass. It has the original 14 inch
Buick wheels with 215/70/14 Firestone raised letter tires, and it is
believed to have only 81k miles on the car! This is a fantastic car that is
ready to be restored a little more!
1969 Buick Skylark convertible frame/suspension walk around
This is my first video upload on Youtube...so take it easy on me..:)
This is the 69 Buick Skylark convertible I am working on. I have the frame
and front suspension done so I thought I'd make a video of it. More videos
to come on the rest of the car...including the big block 455 build.
The All New 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage Interior And Exterior review
Looking at the Mitsubishi Mirage, about the best you can say is that the
design is inoffensive. There's a reason for the bland, characterless front
end: aerodynamics, meaning that the rounded nose smooths the little car's
path through the air and uses very little fuel to do it. The rest of the
car's design is generic small hatchback, perhaps with a hint of
last-generation at the rear.
The materials inside are inexpensive, but Mitsubishi has crafted a
straightforward dashboard that doesn't really betray its hard-plastic
surfaces. Upholstery is simple black cloth with a subtle purple check. The
front seats are comfortable, but the seat cushions are short; the rear seat
will fit two adults, but while Mitsubishi calls this a five-passenger car,
the rear seat will only fit three if they're exceptionally skinny teens or
The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage suffers from a soft suspension with a lot of
body roll and tire squeal, along with a dead spot in the center of the
electric power steering that can find the car drifting toward the edges of
the lane with no feedback to the driver. The very small 14-inch wheels and
tires may be at least partially to blame. The ride is smooth and quiet on
good roads, but acceleration causes the engine noise to rise substantially
and broken pavements and surfaces are frequently jarring.
The high fuel economy comes at a cost, though. With a 74-horsepower 1.0-liter
three-cylinder engine, the Mirage is neither fast nor powerful. Paired with
a new continuously variable transmission (CVT), its performance away from
stoplights and around town is fine if you work it hard. A five-speed manual
transmission is also offered but it reduces the gas mileage to 37 mpg
combined. At highway speeds, though, there's very little margin indeed for
acceleration or passing, regardless of which transmission you choose.
The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is offered in just two trim levels: the base DE
and the better equipped ES. Beside the standard automatic climate control,
all 2015 Mirages have power locks, windows, and mirrors; a 60/40 split
folding rear seat back and variable intermittent wipers. The AM/FMCD audio
system has a USB port, an auxiliary input jack, and there's a 12-volt power
outlet in the console. Standard steel wheels are fitted with silver plastic
For the Mitsubishi Mirage ES model adds alloy wheels, push button start,
cruise control, a height adjustment for the driver's seat, leather
wrappings for the steering wheel and shift knob, fog lamps, Bluetooth
pairing, and audio controls on the steering wheel. It has more chrome and
silver trim accents as well.
1972 Buick Skylark
1972 Buick Skylark with a Hi-Compression Buick 350-4
I've had this car since October 8th 2010, I'm a senior in High School and
it is my first car, my dad payed for half of it and I payed for the other
half. I pay for the performance goodies that go into it and the occasional
parts that break too. I love driving this old monster even though premium
gas prices are outrageous but the rumble and roar of that massive V8 are
well worth it. I take pride in this car and my dad and I do most of the
work on it ourselves, it's somewhat of a father-son project. We've done
nothing but make this car a heck of a lot better than it was when we got
it. In the great words of GS Club of America, going fast with class, that's
what these Buicks do.
Stock HP: 175hp (for 1972 Buick 350-4 8.5:1 compression)
Rear-wheel HP: 226hp @ 4326 RPM (should be a little higher with the Hyfire
and Mallory coil)
Rear-wheel Tourqe: 307.8 lb-ft @ 3372 RPM (should also be a little higher)
Net HP: approx. 260hp
Compression: 9.5:1 (not sure, but definitely higher than stock because
without prem fuel I get spark knock with the correct fuel to air mixture)
Rear-end gears: 2.73:1 Open Differential (plan on getting a Limited Slip
Transmission: turbohydramatic 350 (with
a shift kit for fun :D)

Formula One V6 turbo: 2014 Rules Explained
Transforming Formula One: 2014 Rules Explained: CGI Clip
A new clip from Red Bull sees Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel explain
the 2014 Formula One regulations -- which are arguably the most complex the
sport has ever seen.
At the start, thousands of car parts simultaneously assemble around Dan to
form the RB10.
As Dan races to catch up Seb in his RB9, the World Champion's car becomes
transparent while travelling at full speed. The film then presents a visual
sequence that shows the 2014 regulation changes taking shape and coming to
life, as Seb's car transforms into an RB10.
As well as providing information on the new technical changes for 2014, the
clip also presents a unique view of the technology at work inside this
year's Formula One cars.
