1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye first startup.
My dad bought this car brand new. I completely disassembled it for a
restoration in 1998. After many years I finally got it running for the
first time. The engine is basically a stock rebuild 318 with a Mopar 340
resto cam. The Exhaust system is from
Accurate Exhaust. Hopefully I can
have it on the road before winter.
1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye Restoration part 2
This video shows the component restoration and assembly of a 73 Dodge
Challenger my dad bought brand new. It starts in 2010 when I got the car
back from the bodyshop. The video ends in 2012 when the car was put back
on the road. The car isn't quite done...I still have a few things to
do.(recover the seats, undercoat the wheelwells exc...)
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 707 Horsepower? Hell Yeah! – Ignition Ep. 116
On this episode of Ignition, presented by Universal Technical Institute,
Carlos Lago drives the most powerful production muscle car on the market:
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. While it isn’t the most powerful
production V-8 in the world (which loses to the $1 million McLaren P1 by 20
hp before electric motors), the Hellcat’s 707 hp rating seems too
incredible to believe -- especially when you consider the cost. The
question is whether this Challenger has any brain to go along with its
extreme brawn. Through a trip to the Dyno, the test track, the road,
and a standing mile, we find out.
Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel.

1973 Dodge Challenger 340 V8 Plum Crazy Mopar Muscle Car
I thought you might like a look at this very slick 1973 Dodge Challenger.
They have painted it in the attention grabbing Plum Crazy Purple and they
added some R/T trim as well. It's also riding on a special edition set of
American Racing rims. Under the hood, you'll find a nicely detailed 340
V8, with a mild cam and a 4 BBL Edelbrock carb. All the power is sent
through a 727 Torqueflite automatic with the Slap stick shifter, back to an
8 3/4 rear with sure grip. The interior is in black vinyl and they have
added the rally gauge package, with a 150 mph speedo and a Tachometer.
This is one extremely nice Mopar, inside and out. I hope you find it
interesting, thanks for taking a look!

Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from
Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together
as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to
electric piano. 011

Dodge Challenger driving off fast!
I try to pull away fast in my Challenger but get too much tyre spin. I must
be almost doing the speed limit at one point. But no more than that
