Blyton Park Trackday 3/3/12 - Apex Trackdays - MX-5
Blyton Park with Apex Trackdays - www.apextrackdays.co.uk
Stan and Cap's first time on track and first outing for the Mk1 MX-5 we were in. Engine is completely standard but it has different shocks, geo setup, tyres, TR Lane half cage and buckets/harnesses.
Great day out as always - special thanks to the chap who broke our steering lock at the start of the day. Nope, not joking, I left the keys 120 miles away so we had to effectively hotwire the car to get it started!

Cammed Clio 172 Blyton Park Track Day 5/8/12 *Apex Track Days*
----WATCH IT IN HD!!----
My final time out on track at Blyton Park on the 5th August 2012 courtesy
of Apex Track Days. Weather had been great all day and if anything was too
hot! The car I'm running in this footage is my Clio PH2 172 with K-Tec
Racing 438 cams, KTR induction setup, KTR supersports Exhaust with silenced decat and various other
additions. As the day was coming to an end there wasn't too many cars on
track at this point but those that were I passed fairly easily so my
driving couldn't have been too bad?!?
Consistency -- How To Become a Better Track Day Driver -- Hooked On Driving
http://www.hookedondriving.com Driving consistent high-skill, high-quality
laps on the race track during a high performance driver education event or
racing is a key to success and dramatically reduces risk. Novice
performance drivers will commonly place "driving faster" as a higher priority over "driving
consistently" with disastrous results. You must use skills of concentration
and discipline—not pushing beyond YOUR personal skill limit—to
successfully drive consistent quality laps; and only then begin to fine
tune other skills such as maximizing use of the tire during corner entry
Hooked On Driving is a Performance Drivers School, hosting events across
the country; all you need is a car, tank of gas and need for speed.
