How to Assemble a Chevy Engine Part 1
This video will show you how to assemble a Chevy engine (or any engine) starting from the basic block. It goes through installing the crankshaft, checking for the right clearences using plastic gage, installing the rings on the pistons, installling the piston in the block, checking the rod bearing clearence, torquing all the bolts to the collect specifications, installing the rear main seal, and demonstrating how the motor works from the bottom view and top view.

Blown Small Block
Little M Dart 400 cu In. Scat crank and rods with custom made diamond pistons. AFR 227 Heads, 75cc chamber, custom grind camshaft, 871 "The Blower Shop" Super Charger, and 750 Mighty Demon Carbs. This thing runs 170 degress C on the hottest of days. Next plan is for an Intercooler system with an ice box. Can be heard before its seen. Really good street manners. Unshrouding Chevy Small Block Combustion Chambers for 2.02 valves
This deals with the age old question of using 2.02 intake valves over 1.94 and what you MUST do when converting them in terms of unshrouding the combustion chambers. I am using an 882 OPEN chamber head and it still has to be unshrouded to utilize the bigger 2.02 intake valve. I discuse the valve "CURTIAN" and how it effects flow as well as what lifts it matters the most.
