"Nessa"-An Evo X Done Right
Wanna see more of this Evo? Check it out on the Dyno!-https://www.youtube.com/wa tch?v=WPczaAjEinA Tuned by Chris Carbee of SloPoke Racing, I get the chance to drive and shoot the Evo X of Virginia Beach known as "Nessa." Belonging to my good friend Sean Khadaran, this Evo currently makes 530 WHP and will make 600+ by this weekend. The setup is good for 1000 WHP! After driving the evil Evo 8 Jasmine the day before, this was a much more laid back shoot. Thanks to Sean so much for letting me drive his beautiful Evo X, and thank all of you for watching! 1000 horsepower hp Subaru WRX STi (65 psi GT45R) walk around review
http://www.SubyPAL.com - This is a REAL 1000 hp STI! Features unique "mystery mods" which turn this bored over STi block into a 65 psi capable monster! Powered by a massive turbo, a ton of PSI, race ported heads, bored over cylinders, and a full internal build for an impressive 1000+ horsepower capability. This build killed the motor within a month and is no longer on the streets. Some saw it run, and those who did only saw the tail lights! I was lucky enough to get it in my garage for a tour before it popped. Enjoy 0:) ***Learn what makes this car capable of 1000 HP at http://www.facebook.com/subyPAL ***

Subaru R-STi - JDM vs USDM: A Friendly Rivalry -- /TUNED
In the US, we never got the best Subaru of them all, the first generation WRX coupe, getting stuck with the fun-but-not-fast 2.5RS version. One of the more popular upgrades for those cars is the "R-STi" drivetrain swap. In the season premiere of Tuned, we look at two approaches: the USDM drivetrain swap, and the JDM drivetrain swap. Which is better? You decide.

600WHP Subaru Impreza STi - Anti Lag and Cyclic Idle in Car Demo
Just put some finishing touches on tuning the anti lag to make it smoother. Flipping the switch opens throttle plate 20% and engine runs on cyclic idle @ 1,700rpm. When I step on the gas and engine rpm exceeds 3,000rpm and 30%+ throttle plate opening, anti lag is on. If engine rpm is under 3,000rpm for 5 seconds or more anti lag turns off and goes back to cyclic idle until I flip the switch off. At idle with anti lag on it's about 1-2psi Boost at 2,700rpm. Free revving it up I can reach 5-10psi with no engine load. BEFORE anyone asks how you get it and if you want it. Anti-lag is EXTREMELY hard on the engine. You would need forged pistons, and built heads at a minimum. The valvetrain takes a beating so inconel/super alloy Exhaust valves would be a must as long with aftermarket valve springs. Also you're going to need a STRONG header. Explosions are going on in there.

2015 Subaru WRX STI: The Daily Driver Rally Car Returns! - Ignition Ep. 107
On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago tests the latest generation of the perennial rally car favorite: The 2015 Subaru WRX STI. Much like the new WRX, this STI has an entirely new and significantly stiffer body structure, but unlike the WRX, it still uses the same 305 horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four that's powered the car since 2008. Our introduction to the car occurs at the press launch at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. From there, we test the STI to see the performance improvements and drive it on one of our favorite mountain roads. How does the new STI stack up? Stay tuned to find out. Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsAegdhiYLEoaFGuJFVrqFQ?sub_confirmation=1 Facebook - http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & https://www.facebook.com/mt.ignition Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/mt_ignition Google+ - https://plus.google.com/+motortrend/posts Instagram - @mt_ignition Website - http://www.motortrend.com

2015 Subaru WRX vs 2014 Ford Focus ST! Head 2 Head Ep. 50
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman gets his hands on the all-new, 2015 Subaru WRX, as well as one of Motor Trend's favorite pocket rockets, the Ford Focus ST. Each car costs about $30,000, sports a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with similar power outputs, and features a 6-speed manual transmission. The Subaru of course features a sporty version of the brand's "symmetrical AWD" while the Focus makes due with just the front wheels driven. However, since it first appeared, the Focus ST has wowed the Motor Trend staff with ability to dance around corners and, generally, not drive and feel like a front-wheel driver. We like the Focus ST so much that we invited it to last year's Best Driver's Car. But does the Ford have what it takes to beat the latest street-tamed rally baby from Subaru? You're going to have to watch and find out. Head 2 Head appears every other Wednesday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=motortrend Facebook - http://facebook.com/motortrendmag Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend Google+ - https://plus.google.com/1018679678590... Subaru WRX STi vs Audi S3 Saloon
Does the new Subaru WRX STi live up to its predecessors - and can it match the new Audi S3 Saloon? Subscribe to our YouTube channel http://bit.ly/11Ad1j1 Subscribe to the mag http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/yt The Subaru WRX STi and Audi S3 Saloon may not seem like obvious rivals, but both have the same power output and distant rally heritage to call upon for their performance kudos. At £33,245 with a six-speed manual gearbox, the Audi S3 is more expensive than the Subaru, but the £28,995 WRX clearly doesn't have the premium badge and upmarket cabin of its Audi rival. With 407Nm, the Subaru has a fraction more torque than the 380Nm Audi, but it's where that torque arrives that really makes the difference. In the Subaru you've got to wait until 4,000rpm to get peak torque, whereas in the punchy Audi it arrives at just 1,800rpm. These cars have got very different characters. There was a time when we thought the new WRX wasn't going to come to the UK but fast Subaru fans can relax - it's finally here. In an age when cars are accused of all looking and feeling the same, there's no doubting that a WRX doesn't feel or look like anything else on the road. Performance car fans will forgive the Subaru's cabin because this car is all about the driving experience and if you've driven a WRX before then this new car will feel very familiar. First of all the boxer engine sounds the same, you've got that unique sound from about 4,000rpm as you start to work it hard. You've got a gearbox that's got quite a short shift on each change, with a slightly notchy, quite mechanical feel, and the steering is very fast but at the same time quite light - which can be a bit disconcerting. It's also got quite aggressive self-centring, but once you get used to it you realise that that's a contributing factor to what makes this car feel so agile. This is a car that you really will enjoy on the average British road. The first thing you notice is when you get into the Audi S3 is the upmarket interior is in a different league to the Subaru. It's a real contrast to the dated cabin of the Subaru. The driving experience is completely different, too. Where the Subaru is really vigorous all the time, the Audi is very relaxed: it drives like any other well-sorted fast Audi. But the performance is there: it's got the same power as the Subaru's engine. In the Audi you've got really instant power all the time so you don't feel like you've got to work the engine so hard. And the handling's pretty accomplished as well. The steering's not as sharp and the way that the diffs work is not as aggressive but there's plenty of traction, decent body control and the car turns in nicely. It's not a thrilling car on a road like this but it's just very accomplished. Off the line, both cars have superb traction, but the Audi is nearly 100Kg lighter than the Subaru, and that shows by the time we reach 60mph. The S3 punches to 60 in 5.4 seconds, whereas the Subaru is 2 tenths behind at 5.6 seconds. So which car comes out on top in our test? Well, Subaru fans will love the sound of the WRX's boxer engine and the car's unique character. But the Audi has a much nicer cabin, it was faster in the drag race and it's a nicer car to live with day-to-day. Yes, it's more expensive, but if you want a fast, comfortable and stylish performance saloon, the Audi S3 is the one for us.
