2013 Chrysler 200 - Test Drive
Don Marshall Kentucky presents to us the all-new 2013 Chrysler 200.
The Chrysler 200 is Chrysler's entry into the mid-sized car market. It's not quite the Chrysler 300, not quite the Dodge Caliber, but right there in the middle. The 200 boasts classic Chrysler design features. It has projector headlights, projector fog lamps, and the classic Chrysler designed grille.
Under the hood is a Penastar v6, a phenomenal motor that sits horizontally beneath the hood to make it fit for the front wheel drive platform. It is matted up with a 6 speed automatic transmission and gets an astonishing 29 miles to the gallon on the highway.
Inside the Chrysler 200 you will notice heated leather seats, power adjustable seats and mirrors, and is fitted with the Boston Acoustics Sound system for incredible sound quality. The car also features steering wheel radio controls, cruise control, and an auto dimming rear view mirror.
The car has a lengthened wheel base, so even though it is a mid-sized sedan, it almost feels like you are driving in a full-size sedan.

Chrysler has been busy re-inventing itself and one of the much needed upgrades was to the Sebring, which is now the Chrysler 200. The Sebring convertible has had bad press in the past, but the people that own them, love them.
After driving one for an afternoon, I can see the appeal. The Chrysler 200 is priced right, comfortable, has above average handling, a good ride, easy to learn controls, a great sound system and now an optional hard top convertible. My interview with the 200's Chief Engineer tells a little more of the story, I hope you watching!
