1969 AMERICAN MOTORS SC/RAMBLER Only 124 are known to exist
The Hurst SC/Rambler was created in the spring of 1969. This was a collaboration of American Motors and Hurst Performance. There were 1,512 Hurst SC/Ramblers produced with an original selling price of $2,998. One of 1,512 ever built and one 1,188 in the "A" paint scheme. The car has its original engine and many NOS parts were used in the restoration process. Options included with the car: AMC 390/315hp, unique red/white/blue exterior pain and headrests, functional Ram Air with hood scoop, 4-speed transmission with Hurst shifter, HD suspension with sway bar, torque links, and staggered shocks, HD cooling, power disc brakes and sun tachometer. The Big Rambler/AMC/Jeep Show, Kenosha, WI, 2007
On Saturday, July 28, 2007, four days after my leg cast came off, I was up shooting video at the Rambler/AMC/Jeep show in Kenosha, WI, the largest such show in the country. Felt real good to be back on two legs again. And before you start writing in with blood in your eyes, yes, I know the Alliance pictured isn't an '83; convertibles didn't come out till a few years later. This one was the only one at the show. Encores, Medallions, Sportwagons and Premiers weren't there at all. You owners of '83 to '88 Renault cars should be better represented at next year's show; they were as much a part of the AMC story as the Rambler and the Jeep.

Turbocharged LS V8 AMC Gremlin visits LV Cars and Coffee
First time we heard about Lehigh Valley Cars and Coffee, so we decided to take a trip down. First the drag radials rubbed, so we put more air in the air shocks. Then the air shocks exploded, so we put the small tires back on. We eventually made it and ruined the atmosphere of the meet.
