A few years after this campaign, an Australian ad for the car showed it in
a dark garage, at night, where the headlights morph into the eyes of a
feline, whilst a wolf cry can be heard in the background.
Exactly who was this car pitched to?

2014 Toyota Avalon XLE Premium Test Drive Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/avalon/2014/prices/ The 2014 Toyota Avalon
is a big, roomy, fuel efficient car with some nice luxury amenities. The
Avalon has been on sale in the U.S. for almost 20 years and it has never
been a very stylish car. Well that all changed with the most recent update
last year. Now the Avalon has a very sleek and aerodynamic look that will
set the tone for other Toyota vehicles as evident with the new Corolla.
The 2014 Toyota Avalon is a full-sized family car that is priced between
$31,340 - $39,650 with the model tested here coming in at $33,195. The
Avalon is a very light-weight vehicle in the class of portly large sedans.
That helps with not only fuel economy but also with performance. The 3.5
liter V-6 engine makes 268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft. or
torque. Fuel economy is 21 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway.
Being a full-sized car, the Avalon has a ton of interior space especially
for the rear passengers. The driver's seat is wrapped in leather with 8-way
adjustable controls. Comfort is certainly not a problem in the Avalon. The
Intelligent Touch Center Console controls the stereo and climate controls.
The only downside is the small touchscreen. Ergonomically the control and
features are easy to find.

2013 Toyota Avalon Review and Road Test (with infotainment review)
The Avalon has been something of a caricature for Toyota since it wafted
onto the stage in 1994. The stretched Camry was low on soul, devoid of
style and soft of spring. In short, it was the Buick that wouldn't leave
you stranded. Since then Toyota has struggled to divine a mission for their
full size sedan, a problem complicated by the re-invigoration of the large
sedan market by the American brands. In hopes of resurrecting the Avalon's
sales numbers, which have slid to 25% of their 2000 year shipments, Toyota
has injected something hitherto unseen in an Avalon: style. Is it enough?
Before we dive right into the Avalon, it's important to cover the
competition. Back when the Chrysler LHS and Buick Park Avenue roamed the
land, the Avalon's competition was easy to identify. Nearly 20 years later
those customers are in a nursing home without a driver's license and Toyota
is looking for new hunting grounds (I can kid because I owned an LHS.) Now
we have the moderately successful Chrysler 300, the larger-than-ever
Taurus, a new Impala that doesn't make me want to put my eyes out and a
revised Hyundai Azera trying to beat Toyota at their own game.
But wait, I'm forgetting one. The "elephant in the room" that is the Lexus
ES 350. You see, the kind of shopper that needs a new car and immediately
thinks "Toyota Avalon" is far more likely to cross shop the Lexus ES than
the gangsta 300 or the Impala. After spending a week in the ES and the
Avalon fraternal twins back-to-back this comparison is even more valid.
Now in its fourth incarnation, the Avalon has finally developed a sense of
style. While the "I'm a bigger Camry" look is still going on, Toyotas has
managed to inject some creases and curves that made my 33 year old eyes
take a second look. It's not as visually exciting as the Chrysler 300, but
Toyota's styling efforts look better thought out than the Impala's 11/10ths
Cruze grille. Car makers love making their vehicles "instantly
identifiable" as a member of their brand. Translation: they make them all
look the same.
Thankfully Toyota ditched the Camry "quotation mark" shaped tail lamps for
a more elegant rear end treatment. The new rump features more chrome than
any other Toyota product, dual Exhaust
tips and tail lamps that wrap well around the side. The engineers stretched
the Avalon's greenhouse over the trunk to increase the visual length of the
car, a trick that worked on me until I looked at the spec sheet. At 195
inches, the Avalon is 6-inches longer than the Camry, but it's several
inches shorter than the Chrysler, Chevy and Ford. Since the ES and Avalon
are now twins separated at birth most of the dimensions are common except
that the Avalon gets a bigger booty (and more trunk space in the process)
and (oddly enough) has a lower ride height making it visually more

We drive the 2014 HEMI Dodge Police Pursuit Charger & test it from 0-60 MPH (again)
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2014 HEMI Dodge Police Pursuit Charger is one
badass looking cop car. You certainly don't want to see this police car in
your rear view mirror. Last year we got to ride in the Dodge Police Pursuit
Charger at Chrysler's Proving Grounds in Michigan. This year Nathan and
Roman got behind the wheel of the 2014 HEMI Dodge Police Pursuit Charger
and played cops and robbers. In another fun and informative TFLcar video we
not only drive the new Charger Pursuit but we test it from 0-60 MPH at sea
level to see if the HEMI gas what it takes to catch up with the bad guys.

What I have to say about the 2013 Avalon: Out with the old and in with the
new, this quote can be directly used toward the new 2013 Toyota Avalon.
Toyota's main approach was to entice younger buyers into the Avalon instead
of the old ones. The previous generation was quite boring as some people
would call it as it had no sporty flavor, that it's competitors had.
However, this has changed for 2013 a new stiffed up suspension and better
driving dynamics, this one is way more fun to drive with still having some
of that floaty boaty taste. The interior is very rich looking with
stitching almost everywhere, as I was very surprised by it. Everything is
ergonomically correct in the car and the touch sensitive buttons used for
almost all of your basic functions is actually one of the best I have ever
used. All in all very great car from Toyota I really recommend to buy it
for a Full Size car for 2013. Like Camerons Car Reviews on Facebook!
