2012 BMW 3-Series Test Drive & Luxury Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/bmw/328/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 BMW 3-Series is now in its 6th generation. This platform has been around in the U.S. since 1977. If you are looking at entry-level luxury sedans then the 3-Series has to be at the top of your list. Every single competitor car in this segment tries to beat out the BMW 3-Series. Mercedes has the C-Class, Audi the A4, Infiniti the G37, Lexus the IS line; but none can stack up to the 2012 BMW 3-Series. There are a handful of different 3-Series models including the 335i and the 328i. Prices vary from $34,900 for the very base model 328i up to over $60,000 with the 335is convertible model. But it is this base 2012 BMW 328i that is featured here. The 328i base is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 240 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. Power is put down to the rear wheels through either an 8-speed transmission or a 6-speed manual. Fuel economy figures are outstanding at 24 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway. There is something called ECO PRO mode that teaches the driver how to drive more efficiently. The interior of the 2012 BMW 3-Series is modern and sophisticated. You can get a variety of leather and trim pieces. But it's the technology factor where the BMW 3-Series really excels. Now there is a really trick heads-up display system that projects vehicle data onto the windshield in front of the driver. You can get onboard navigation along with a parking assist feature. The 3-Series is also loaded with tons of BMW Apps and a Harmon Kardon sound system. The combination of a long great heritage combined with a powerful yet fuel efficient turbocharged engine make for an entry-level luxury car that is tough to beat. With the newly redesigned 2012 BMW 3-Series luxury sedan, the bar has once again been raised for the rest of this segment. 2013 Audi S6 Luxury Sports Sedan Review
The 2013 Audi S6 is considered a luxury sports sedan since it packs a twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, standard Quattro AWD, and a number of other performance upgrades. The base price on this car is $71,900 but the price can swell closer to $90k once you tack on optional packages and accessories. Even though the S6 is a performance tuned version of the A6, it doesn't really scream speed on the outside unless you know to look for the S-Badging. Under the hood lives some serious hardware designed to create serious speed; the kind that can get you into trouble very easily. The engine is a twin-turbocharged 4.0 liter V-8 that makes 420 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. 0-60 MPH happens in 4.6 seconds thanks in part to the Quattro AWD system and the 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. Out back there is a sports rear differential that makes sure power if put to the pavement. On the inside the diamond-stitched premium sports seats are the first indicator that the 2013 Audi S6 is a real performance machine. As you would expect from a $70k car this machine is loaded with features and content. A BOSE audio system is standard but for just $5900 more you can upgrade to a Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System that includes 15 speakers and 1300 watts of pure joy. The Audi MMI controls all the navigation and infotainment systems. The 2013 Audi S6 is an incredible performance machine and you can find out more http://www.autobytel.com/audi/s6/2013/?id=32972 See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/?id=32972 Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel

2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mercedes-benz/s-class/2012/?id=32972 Mercedes-Benz is known for luxury but make no mistake about it; the S550 is all about performance. The full sized luxury sedan car market has some really great cars including the Audi A8-L, the Lexus LS460-L, and the BMW 750iL. But the 2012 Mercedes S550 is at the top of the list. This vehicle combines a powerful yet fuel efficient power plant, comfortable ride, and high end technology into one beautiful package. The base price for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 is $94,500. The hugely powerful engine that lives in the S550 is a twin-turbo 4.6 liter V-8. This bad boy pumps out 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. All that power is transmitted to the wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission. You can get the S550 in either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. 0-60 MPH is eclipsed in only 4.9 seconds. This is true sports car performance out of a large high-end luxury sedan. Fuel economy is surprisingly good at 15 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. To provide a luxurious ride you would expect from a high-end luxury car, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 has a few tricks up its sleeve. First the AIRMATIC active suspension is computer controlled and will adjust to the road conditions. There are 2 setting: Comfort and Sport. When you choose sports the car automatically lowers a bit to improve aerodynamics and the suspension tightens up. In Comfort mode the S550 provides a balanced enjoyable ride. In addition to AIRMATIC the 2012 Mercedes S550 has an Active Dampening System that will tailor the dampening force of the strut every time there is any wheel travel. On the inside of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 the driver and passenger are bathed in premium luxury. The seats are wrapped in supple leather. Up front the seats are both heated and ventilated for your pleasure. There is also an option to upgrade to message seats which are so very comfortable. Heck even the rear seats can come as 8-way power adjustable units. The Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 sound system is comprised of 15 speakers throughout the interior. This stereo has over 600 watts of music producing power. The S550 comes packed with every bit of technological goodie you need including: Bluetooth, Hard Drive Navigation, Satellite Radio, Rear Seat Entertainment, and more. There are many more optional features and packages you can add to the 2012 Mercedes S550. This may be the top of the heap for the long-wheel base luxury sedan segment. 2012 Audi R8 V10 Spyder Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/audi/r8/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Audi R8 is considered one of the best supercars you can buy and is available in two distinct body styles, consisting of a coupe and a convertible which is also called the Spyder. There are 2 engine choices available: the 4.2 liter V-8 engine and the 5.2 liter V-10 engine. Base price for the 4.2 liter coupe is a reasonable $114,200 with the 5.2 liter Spyder tested here costing $162,700. And just so you know there is a $3000 gas guzzler tax on this vehicle. Choosing the car of the year list is hard work. When looking at the best convertible for 2012 the Audi R8 V10 Spyder; this car defines what a convertible should be. The R8 Spyder is definitely one of the sexiest cars ever created. There is no mistaking the rear of the Audi R8. You can see this car coming from a mile away. The only drawback with owning the Spyder vs. the coupe is that with the coupe model you get a cool engine cover that is clear. But with the Spyder, there needs to be a place to hide the folding top; thus the engine is hidden. Like most convertibles the Audi R8 Spyder is challenged for cargo space. You would be lucky to get 2 grocery bags into the front storage area. The 2012 Audi R8 V10 Spyder is powered by a 5.2 liter V-10 engine that produces 525 horsepower and 391 lb-ft. of torque. The car rockets from 0-60 MPH in 4.0 seconds. In case you are wonder the Audi R8 V10 gets 13 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway.  Audi has always offered many advanced packages with their vehicles and the R8 has plenty of addition options you can purchase. For $9900 you can upgrade the brakes to a Ceramic Carbon set of high performance rotors and calipers. Or for about $8100 you can opt for the Carbon Fiber Sigma Exterior Package which adds a carbon fiber front spoiler and rear diffuser. On the inside the options include a carbon fiber dress-up kit. For $750 the R8 Spyder can be equipped with a set of cool white gauges. The 2012 Audi R8 is available with paddle shifters but the real driver's choice should be the gated 6-speed manual transmission. The Audi R8 Spyder is one of the best looking cars on the road. When you add in a huge 525 horsepower V-10 engine, the R8 transforms into a monster. 2013 Audi S4 AWD vs 2013 Volvo S60 T6 AWD R-Design! - Head 2 Head Ep. 34
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Motor Trend's Jonny Lieberman pits the 2013 Volvo S60 T6 AWD R-Design against returning contender, the 2013 Audi S4. Before hitting the road, the engine placements of both competing sedans are compared against segment contemporaries such the Cadillac ATS & BMW's 335i. Why? Because while both competitors are AWD, they start life as FWD. As a result, both vehicles have unusual engine placements. A mix of limit testing & canyon carving follows as Jonny provides insight on both cars, examining everything from driving impressions to interior ergonomics. 2013 Audi S4: The Sleeper Sport Sedan! - Ignition Episode 69
On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago heads back to Fontana and the mountainous roads of Angeles Crest Highway to tackle the newest update to the Audi S4, the considerably faster and more aggressive version of the popular A4 sedan. The 2013 Audi S4 is just as precise but with much more attitude and when equipped with the Sport Differential, the all-wheel-drive sedan rotates almost like one of its rear-wheel drive counterparts.  Will the new Audi S4's V6T engine reign supreme over the previous generation's V8? Will people even be able to tell the difference between the S4 and that A4? Stay tuned to find out. Behind The Wheel: 2012 Audi S4
Audi's S4 has been on the scene since 1991 as Audi's automotive performance response to BMW's M3 and Merc's C-Class AMG. Quick, sophisticated and a sleeper in its own right, the S4 still tended to reserve itself for those who wanted solid performance and creature comforts but didn't necessarily pine for the M3's razor handling and steering precision and the C-Class AMG's raucous power. Well, 2013's S4 isn't lacking in any particular department but it isn't exactly rushing to show off with a boisterous aesthetic. What the S4 does do is provide its driver with a sporty and luxurious cabin, tech appointments to impress, and the kind of road experience that makes one crave that extra trip to the hardware store on the other side of town to get a completely useless item. We get Behind The Wheel to show you what it's all about. Our video review awaits after the jump. New Audi S4 2013
http://www.caricos.com/cars/a/audi/2013_audi_s4/ Audi S4 The Audi S4, available in the Sedan and Avant versions, employs the most powerful engine in the line -- the 3.0 TFSI with 245 kW (333 hp) and 440 Nm (324.53 lb-ft) torque. The Sedan's average fuel consumption is a mere 8.0 liters per 100 km (29.40 US mpg) -- with an impressive performance: The S4 accelerates in 5.0 seconds from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) and achieves an electronically limited maximum speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). The modified Audi S4 is identifiable from the changes to the headlights, the bumpers, the air inlets and colors. The interior also contains subtle changes in appearance. The S sport suspension and 18-inch wheels featured on the S4 deliver outstanding road grip. A bestseller has become even more attractive: Audi has updated the A4 series. New solutions for efficiency, driving dynamics and infotainment, along with an even more attractive design, attest the "Vorsprung durch Technik" achieved by the A4 Sedan, the A4 Avant, the A4 allroad quattro and the S4. Design The A4 is Audi's bestseller -- for 39 years now and in its eighth generation. The brand has sold ten million such models in total. The A4, with its elegance, sportiness and emotional appeal, forms the centerpiece of the Audi brand. And now the design has become even more clearly defined and striking in all models -- the Sedan, the Avant, the allroad quattro and the S4. The new look further accentuates the horizontal lines at the front end. The engine hood is more arched, the upper corners of the single frame grille are tapered, and the cross ribs and the Audi rings are highlighted three-dimensionally. The grille is painted gray, with high-gloss black on the six-cylinder models or in combination with the S line exterior package. The redesigned bumpers are striking with their angular air inlets, their revised grilles and the flat front fog lights. The A4 allroad quattro is distinguished by its grille's horizontal chrome applications and by the round fog lights. The headlights have also changed, with a slight wave at the bottom edges, and a re-arranged interior. Xenon plus headlights are available from Audi on request. The LED daytime running lights form a narrow, optically homogeneous band that remains open in the vicinity of the xenon lens. The adaptive light together with dynamic and static cornering lights are available on request. The tail lights reflect the shape of the headlights, and in combination with xenon plus have homogeneous strips of LEDs. The bumper with its diffuser insert has been redesigned, with the Exhaust system always terminating in two tailpipes. There is a selection of 15 paint finishes, including four new tones. The Sedan and the Avant offer the S line exterior package, while the Avant also includes a roof spoiler. The modifications have changed the dimensions only by a few millimeters. The A4 Sedan and the Avant each have a length of 4.70 meters (15.42 ft), while the A4 allroad quattro and the S4 are 4.72 meters (15.49 ft) long. The wheelbases for all models are 2.81 meters (9.22 ft), and the width is 1.83 and 1.84 meters, respectively (6.0 and 6.04 ft). The height varies between 1.41 and 1.50 meters (4.63 and 4.92 ft) depending on the body version.
