2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mercedes-benz/s-class/2012/?id=32972 Mercedes-Benz is known for luxury but make no mistake about it; the S550 is all about performance. The full sized luxury sedan car market has some really great cars including the Audi A8-L, the Lexus LS460-L, and the BMW 750iL. But the 2012 Mercedes S550 is at the top of the list. This vehicle combines a powerful yet fuel efficient power plant, comfortable ride, and high end technology into one beautiful package. The base price for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 is $94,500. The hugely powerful engine that lives in the S550 is a twin-turbo 4.6 liter V-8. This bad boy pumps out 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. All that power is transmitted to the wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission. You can get the S550 in either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. 0-60 MPH is eclipsed in only 4.9 seconds. This is true sports car performance out of a large high-end luxury sedan. Fuel economy is surprisingly good at 15 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. To provide a luxurious ride you would expect from a high-end luxury car, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 has a few tricks up its sleeve. First the AIRMATIC active suspension is computer controlled and will adjust to the road conditions. There are 2 setting: Comfort and Sport. When you choose sports the car automatically lowers a bit to improve aerodynamics and the suspension tightens up. In Comfort mode the S550 provides a balanced enjoyable ride. In addition to AIRMATIC the 2012 Mercedes S550 has an Active Dampening System that will tailor the dampening force of the strut every time there is any wheel travel. On the inside of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 the driver and passenger are bathed in premium luxury. The seats are wrapped in supple leather. Up front the seats are both heated and ventilated for your pleasure. There is also an option to upgrade to message seats which are so very comfortable. Heck even the rear seats can come as 8-way power adjustable units. The Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 sound system is comprised of 15 speakers throughout the interior. This stereo has over 600 watts of music producing power. The S550 comes packed with every bit of technological goodie you need including: Bluetooth, Hard Drive Navigation, Satellite Radio, Rear Seat Entertainment, and more. There are many more optional features and packages you can add to the 2012 Mercedes S550. This may be the top of the heap for the long-wheel base luxury sedan segment. You can get any of these vehicles with either all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. The 2012 Mercedes E350 is not just about luxury; there is a lot of performance and sport built into this vehicle. From a drivers perspective the E-350 does a wonderful job of giving you just enough space to make you feel like you are driving a luxury sports sedan. The Mercedes E350 coupe is a wonderful all-purpose vehicle great handling vehicle. The base price is $49,800. The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E350 is powered by a 3.5 liter V-6 engine. Power output is 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of torque. There is a 7-speed automatic transmission that aids in the fuel economy department. Gas Mileage ratings are very good for a luxury sports sedan at 20 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. The Agility Control suspension detects the road conditions and adjusts the suspension. When your driving becomes more performance oriented the shocks firm up, and when you are driving at a leisurely pace, the shocks provide a more luxurious ride. There is an optional all-wheel drive system available. The 4MATIC system features Electronic Stability Control and can vary the amount of power being sent to the front or rear wheels depending on where it is needed most. The exterior of the Mercedes-Benz E350 received a total redesign for the 2012 model year. The new bold lines, 3-bar grille, and sculpted hood give the E-Class a very sporty look. Maybe the most noticeable feature on the car is the LED Daytime Running Lamps and Taillights. These additions not only aid in the styling of the Mercedes E350, but they also provide quicker and brighter illumination which may prevent accidents. On the inside the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E350 combines both technology and luxury into one great package. 2015 Ford F-150 First Drive Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/f-150/2015/?id=32972 The 13th Generation F-Series from Ford is kind of a big deal. First off the entire truck body is made of aluminum which in turn has reduced the overall weight from anywhere between 500-700 lbs. Also going hand-in-hand with less weight is a better fuel economy score. The 2015 Ford F-150 is still a large pick-up that is a worthy successor. There is no denying that Ford has raised the bar when it comes to an efficient truck. 2012 Nissan 370Z Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/370z/2012/?id=32972 The Nissan Z Car has been around since the early 1970's under the Datsun name. For year the Z has been one of the most beloved affordable sports cars both here in the United States and in Japan as well. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is considered the Mustang of Japan since the drive train configuration, price, and body style is similar to that of many American muscle cars. The 2012 Nissan 370Z has a base price of $31,910 with the top of the line Touring Roadster costing over $44,000. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is powered by one of the best engines every produced by Nissan. The VQ37VHR is a 3.7 liter V-6 engine with Variable Valve Timing that produces 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. A 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission puts the power down to the rear wheels. The 2012 Nissan 370Z can achieve up to 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway. The 370Z is considered to be the little brother of the mighty Nissan GT-R. It is smaller, costs less, and does not have as much power. That being said the 2012 Nissan 370Z does benefit from having the GT-R as an older brother in that some of the high end technology and options have been passed down to the 370Z. The first thing you notice are the huge 19-inch RAYS sport rims. These forged alloy wheels are not only strong but they are also lightweight. The 370Z also sports a sleek body with functional spoilers both front and rear. In the performance department the 2012 Nissan 370Z has a viscous limited-slip differential which makes sure power is transferred to the wheel that needs it the most. Also the Nissan 370Z features a SynchroRev Match system which automatically blips the throttle to promote faster and smoother shifting between gears. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is an excellent sports car. It may be a little rough around the edges and a little on the pricey side, but if you want a true Japanese sports car with over 300 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, then the 370Z is an excellent choice. New Audi S4 2013
http://www.caricos.com/cars/a/audi/2013_audi_s4/ Audi S4 The Audi S4, available in the Sedan and Avant versions, employs the most powerful engine in the line -- the 3.0 TFSI with 245 kW (333 hp) and 440 Nm (324.53 lb-ft) torque. The Sedan's average fuel consumption is a mere 8.0 liters per 100 km (29.40 US mpg) -- with an impressive performance: The S4 accelerates in 5.0 seconds from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) and achieves an electronically limited maximum speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). The modified Audi S4 is identifiable from the changes to the headlights, the bumpers, the air inlets and colors. The interior also contains subtle changes in appearance. The S sport suspension and 18-inch wheels featured on the S4 deliver outstanding road grip. A bestseller has become even more attractive: Audi has updated the A4 series. New solutions for efficiency, driving dynamics and infotainment, along with an even more attractive design, attest the "Vorsprung durch Technik" achieved by the A4 Sedan, the A4 Avant, the A4 allroad quattro and the S4. Design The A4 is Audi's bestseller -- for 39 years now and in its eighth generation. The brand has sold ten million such models in total. The A4, with its elegance, sportiness and emotional appeal, forms the centerpiece of the Audi brand. And now the design has become even more clearly defined and striking in all models -- the Sedan, the Avant, the allroad quattro and the S4. The new look further accentuates the horizontal lines at the front end. The engine hood is more arched, the upper corners of the single frame grille are tapered, and the cross ribs and the Audi rings are highlighted three-dimensionally. The grille is painted gray, with high-gloss black on the six-cylinder models or in combination with the S line exterior package. The redesigned bumpers are striking with their angular air inlets, their revised grilles and the flat front fog lights. The A4 allroad quattro is distinguished by its grille's horizontal chrome applications and by the round fog lights. The headlights have also changed, with a slight wave at the bottom edges, and a re-arranged interior. Xenon plus headlights are available from Audi on request. The LED daytime running lights form a narrow, optically homogeneous band that remains open in the vicinity of the xenon lens. The adaptive light together with dynamic and static cornering lights are available on request. The tail lights reflect the shape of the headlights, and in combination with xenon plus have homogeneous strips of LEDs. The bumper with its diffuser insert has been redesigned, with the Exhaust system always terminating in two tailpipes. There is a selection of 15 paint finishes, including four new tones. The Sedan and the Avant offer the S line exterior package, while the Avant also includes a roof spoiler. The modifications have changed the dimensions only by a few millimeters. The A4 Sedan and the Avant each have a length of 4.70 meters (15.42 ft), while the A4 allroad quattro and the S4 are 4.72 meters (15.49 ft) long. The wheelbases for all models are 2.81 meters (9.22 ft), and the width is 1.83 and 1.84 meters, respectively (6.0 and 6.04 ft). The height varies between 1.41 and 1.50 meters (4.63 and 4.92 ft) depending on the body version.
