You can opt for either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed S-Tronic Dual Clutch automatic with auto-shift. Fuel economy averages about 18 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. But with the powerful engine, quick shifting transmission, and Quattro all-wheel drive; the 2012 Audi S4 can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in around 4.9 seconds.
Some features found on the exterior of the Audi S4 are the world famous adaptive Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights. The taillights also feature LED's. These have become the most recognized feature on any Audi vehicle and many other automobile manufacturers have tried to copy these features but none look as good as Audi. You can also get an option set of huge 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels with high performance tires. Also on the outside there is S-badging all around, aluminum Optic side mirrors, an cool trunk spoiler, and a sporty front splitter.
On the inside the 2012 Audi S4 features beautiful 12-way adjustable leather seats with Alcantara inserts. You can choose from carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, or stainless steel inserts and trim. The steering wheel is very sporty and the car comes packed with Audi MMI technology the 2012 Audi S4 may be the ultimate luxury sport sedan for under $50,000.

2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Track Test Drive & Muscle Car Video Review

Keon recently had the chance to test drive the all new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 on the street as well as on the track at Virginia International Raceway. The Camaro ZL1 sports a supercharged V-8 engine that makes 580 horsepower. Base price for the ZL1 is $54,095.
On the road the Camaro ZL1 feels firm and planted, but the ride is not rough or harsh. In fact the 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 could make for a great daily driver. The Alcantara lined seats and steering wheel feel great and are usually reserved for high end luxury cars. But make no mistake; the ZL1 was designed to kick-butt!
One of the things that make the ZL1 special is the optional 20-inch lightweight track wheel. These black 10-spoke rims are made from forged aluminum for strength. The rims are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Generation 2 tires sized P285/35ZR20 up front and P305/35ZR20 out back. A huge Brembo Brake package sits behind these sinister rims. Suspension chores are handled by the Magnetic Ride Control System. The shocks are filled with a magnetorheological fluid and the dampening levels are computer controlled and adjusted up to 1000 per second. This makes for a comfortable ride on the road and a more than capable ride on the track.
The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is powered by a Supercharged Corvette engine dubbed the LSA. The 6.2 liter V-8 engine packs an Eaton Supercharger on top. Power output is 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft. of torque. The Supercharger provides plenty of torque at any RPM level so that the power is there whenever you want it! You can choose between a Hydra-Matic 6-Speed Automatic Transmission w/TAPSHIFT or Tremec 6-speed manual transmission.
The Camaro ZL1 can run from 0-60 MPH in 4.0 seconds and can eclipse the ¼ mile in 12.0 seconds. Top speed for the ZL1 is 180 MPH. Fuel economy is 14 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway if you are wondering. On the road the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 pulls hard from any RPM thanks to the flat torque curve provided by the Supercharger. Practically every part on the Camaro ZL1 was designed to aid this Muscle Car in going fast. At just $54,095 the ZL1 can't be beat when you are talking high performance for the money. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 sports the amount of technology and horsepower you would expect to find on a car costing 4 times at much.

There are 2 engine choices available: the 4.2 liter V-8 engine and the 5.2 liter V-10 engine. Base price for the 4.2 liter coupe is a reasonable $114,200 with the 5.2 liter Spyder tested here costing $162,700. And just so you know there is a $3000 gas guzzler tax on this vehicle.
Choosing the car of the year list is hard work. When looking at the best convertible for 2012 the Audi R8 V10 Spyder; this car defines what a convertible should be. The 2012 Audi R8 V10 Spyder is powered by a 5.2 liter V-10 engine that produces 525 horsepower and 391 lb-ft. of torque. The car rockets from 0-60 MPH in 4.0 seconds. In case you are wonder the Audi R8 V10 gets 13 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway.
Audi has always offered many advanced packages with their vehicles and the R8 has plenty of addition options you can purchase. For $9900 you can upgrade the brakes to a Ceramic Carbon set of high performance rotors and calipers. Or for about $8100 you can opt for the Carbon Fiber Sigma Exterior Package which adds a carbon fiber front spoiler and rear diffuser. On the inside the options include a carbon fiber dress-up kit. For $750 the R8 Spyder can be equipped with a set of cool white gauges.
The 2012 Audi R8 is available with paddle shifters but the real driver's choice should be the gated 6-speed manual transmission. The Audi R8 Spyder is one of the best looking cars on the road. When you add in a huge 525 horsepower V-10 engine, the R8 transforms into a monster.

The A4 was really the car that in the late 1990's revitalized the Audi brand. Audi has been way ahead of the curve when it comes to the compact luxury sedan segment. The A4 has long had a small displacement fuel efficient engine and permanent Quattro AWD. Its just recently that the offerings from BMW and Mercedes-Benz at this level come with the options previously mentioned. The base model front wheel drive 2012 Audi A4 costs $32,500 with the top of the line Prestige model costing at $44,100.
The 2012 Audi A4 is powered by a turbocharged and direct injected 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 2011 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. The A4 comes in either front wheel drive or all wheel drive formats. The AWD system is called Quattro which has been around since 1980. Transmission choices are a 6-speed manual, CVT, or an advanced 8-speed automatic called Tiptronic. Fuel economy varies depending on transmission and what driveline configuration you choose. The FWD A4 with the Multitronic CVT gets 21 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway.
Inside the A4 the driver and passengers are treated to a high-end luxurious experience. The surfaces are covered in genuine leather and you can choose between wood or aluminum trim pieces. Audi is known for having one of the most technologically advanced media systems. The MMI or Multi-Media Interface is available on the 2012 Audi A4. This unit is a 7" touch screen navigation system located in the dash. MMI not only offers navigation but you can control other systems like the stereo and Bluetooth connection just to name a few. Speaking of stereo, the Audi A4 has an optional 14-speaker 505 watt Premium Bang & Olufsen Sound System.
The Audi A4 was named a 2012 IIHS Top Safety pick. The A4 has six airbags including front and side impact. There is an Electronic Stability Control system that uses ABS and traction control to help keep the driver safe and keep the car on the road. The passenger cabin is made from high-strength steel with crumple zones that work together to keep the occupants safe in the event of a crash.
The compact luxury sedan segment is packed full of great vehicles. But Audi has a leg up on the competition since they offer a vehicle with a fuel efficient engine, an 8-speed transmission, Quattro AWD, and tons of luxurious features and amenities.
