Much more to come! Can you save them all? ...every single one of the cars is for sale, yet truly no one cares, DECAYING CLASSICS! Sode 2: 0:13 1964 Pontiacs, 1957 Buick, Tbird, 1954 ? Caddy, 53? Bel Air 3:10 1966 Ford Econoline 1959 Chevy Bel Air 1969 70 Lincoln Mark 3 parts cars for me! 1956 Plymouth Buick wagon 59 Chevy too! ...rotting dusters, squished caddys 7:16 crusher 54ish Pontiac 8:20 57 56 Buick 1964 Impala 1947 Pontiac 11:09 bonus stuff! Pintos shoebox ford, crumaro, scout, dead hippie van, + more... --- Nothing beats the satisfaction of chasing down and pulling old cars from their resting spots. There is a thrill in the hunt, and a joy in discovering a car that nobody else knows about. These are the cars that have been parked for whatever unknown reason ; a blown tranny, discarded in disgust, set aside for later. Many cars are sentenced to a particular spot with no release date in mind. They all have a story to tell, and one has to wonder who fell in love with the vehicle first and plunked down all their hard earned cash on the beast. Cracking open the door is like entering a ancient tomb, with the rusty hinges announcing your arrival. Every old car has it's own unique smell, some brands even possessing their own odors. Pop the hood next. Engine bays come in 3 types, complete, empty, and partially disassembled. A complete bay is the ultimate goal, for that means there is a small chance that the car might still run. An empty bay puts the car towards parts-car status, or full swap/update for sure. A half complete mill is the worst situation possible. One must play detective and figure out what went wrong and where all the missing parts currently reside. Pop the trunk, and it's time to go treasure hunting. The trunk can hold anything from missing parts and nos trim, to possums and many other shocking items forgotten over time. The adventures of moving a car that has not moved in decades is immediately present. Brakes stick, bearings freeze, tires are square and downright ignorant, and every immobile wreck instantly gains 1 ton over its still-mobile twin. Might be the 1800 pounds of old concrete in the trunk, the one the owner conveniently "lost" the keys for. Many times there is things in the way that were not present when the car was parked 45 years ago. Naturally, not all these cars go into the garage and come out show queens. Some get fixed, few get finished, and most get slated for parts service. The ones that do not meet one persons standards get pawned off on fresh hunters with less money and more ambition. Maybe the car will help out to get another twin out of the weeds also and back on the road. But one thing is for certain, once the derelict wreck is loaded, the standard question always asked is "Do you know of any more old cars around here?" 1951 Pontiac Sedan Straight 8 at Country Classic Cars
I thought you might like a look at this nicely restored 1951 Pontiac sedan. It's still powered by the original flathead straight 8. The paint is slick, the chrome looks great, and the interior is looking nice as well. This is a well-preserved car, that is ready to cruise. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching! 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge Drag Car at Jackson Dragway + TV Clip
A few runs that took place in about 1990 at Jackson Dragway in TN. This is the 1969 GTO I built and raced back then. As you can see, the car didn't hook very well at Jackson and was lible to run .10 faster or slower depending on the launch. As you can see it wasn't any slouch, besting tube chassis T-Birds and Nitrous fed Camaros. This was an old school GTO with a stock bore and stroke 455, 850 Holley, 5000 stall TCI, TH400 and 9" Ford rear end with 4:10 gears. All motor, no Nitrous, no trans break. If your interested, you can find more details in the text of my first 69 GTO video.

1956 Pontiac Star Chief Low Mileage Survivor 317 V8 - Gateway Classic Cars
I thought you'd like a look at this very original 1956 Pontiac Star Chief. This amazing survivor has only 74,xxx original miles on the odometer. It's powered by the factory 317 V8, backed by an automatic trans. It has all original interior and even the factory Air Conditioning. You won't find too many out there like this anymore. It has a cool patina to it, that can only be built up over decades of use. If it were me, I would leave this car as it is and just have fun cruising it. I hope you find it interesting....thanks for watching!
