Car Auto Detailing Polish A DIY Wash Degrease Clay Bar Polishing Buffing Detail Video
Car Auto Detailing Polish A DIY Wash Degrease Clay Bar Polishing Buffing Detail Video http://www.1OwnerCarGuy.com This is a complete detail video on this Mercedes Benz 300D W123 diesel. This shows start to finish what we do to cars and what they look like when we are done with them. First we start with a wash to get all the dirt and grime off. Then we do degreasing the engine and wheel wells along with cleaning wheels and tires. If it needs it we then clay bar the car to get a nice smooth surface and then we go ahead and buff the car. Most cars I get require a 2 stage process and I only show the first stage in this video. I then show you what the car looks like when are done. It is a huge difference. How To Polish / Buff Degrease DIY Detail Wash Clay Bar Car Restoration ~ Auto Detailing
How To Detail Wash Clay Bar Buff Degrease Car Restoration ~ Restore Paint Engine Auto Detailing Video http://www.1OwnerCarGuy.com This is a combined video of the complete exterior detail process we did on this 1972 Buick Centurion Convertible. First we start with giving the car a good wash to get all the years of of crap off of it. Then we go ahead and degrease the engine and get it all power washed down. Also degreasing the tires and wheel wells and scubbing them and hitting them with the pressure washer. Then the next step is to clay bar that car to give it a nice smooth surface on the paint. The claying is a very easy process you just have to make sure to keep the paint wet while you are doing it. When you are done with the clay bar you need to wash the car and give it a good scrubbing. Once the car is dry you can start the buffing process. On a car like this we like to do a two stage process. The first stage we use a more gritty compound and a wool pad on a buffer. This takes all the oxidization off of the top surface and brings the true color back out in the paint. We then use a smoother wax compound and a foam pad to really give the paint a wet look. You can see the difference at the end by how big of a difference this makes. It really doesn't take that long and can make all the difference in the world. How to Detail Your Car Without Spending Your Life Savings Part 1
In part 1, I demonstrate how to properly wash your wheels and tires, wash the paint using the 2 bucket method, use a clay bar to remove microscopic paint contaminants, use an orbital polisher to compound swirl marks and haze out of the paint using rubbing compound, and finally, use the same orbital polisher to polish minor imperfections from the paint using polishing compound. I am not responsible for any mishaps that may have occurred from following these procedures. I do this to help you, the car owner, and cannot assume responsibility for any problems. Please use this information to help yourself, good luck, and take care. -6speeddakota

How To Meguiar's Professional Mirror Glaze Training Video
What began over a century ago as a simple furniture polish laboratory and plant in the garage of founder Frank Meguiar Jr., now spans three generations of Meguiar family stewardship. Meguiar's Inc. has become one of the world's leading surface care products companies, providing highly specialized products for almost every conceivable type of surface. In his wildest dreams, it's doubtful that Frank Meguiar Jr., could have foreseen what his bottle of furniture polish in 1901 would evolve into over the next 100 years. When he first began, he made one bottle of polish at a time using an eggbeater. Eventually, with the help of his kids, he was able to produce enough product at night to fill the next day's orders and pay for groceries. From his first bottle of furniture polish, Frank Meguiar Jr. was steadfastly determined never to sell a product unless he was convinced it was the very best of its kind on the market. To this day, the family follows that dictate and, as a result, is the number one selling car guy wax in America with the highest consumer loyalty. Meguiar's diversified product line is distributed in over 92 countries worldwide and consists of more than 300 different cleaners, polishes, waxes, conditioners, and protectants for homes, cars, boats, trains, planes, and almost every other type of surface.
