Best Interior Detailing Tricks: Leather and Plastics
This is a filthy Honda Accord which is perfect to demonstrate 3 different approaches to leather cleaning. The 3 techniques are "options" that might work for whatever car (based on condition, age, material, etc) you are working with. These are simply techniques, options, or "suggestions" of how I would ASSESS the current condition, then TEST each approach on the material. Please use caution on any interior surface when your restoring its condition. (In this case, its modern leather) I hope this is a helpful discussion for everyone to see how leather and most plastics might be cleaned. (in this particularly bad scenario) Thanks for watching. As always, send me an email if I can be helpful. larry@ammonyc.com AMMO Paint Regimen: http://www.ammonyc.com/shop/ammo-paint-regimen-kit/ AMMO Interior Regimen: http://www.ammonyc.com/shop/ammo-interiorregimen-kit/ AMMO Wheel Regimen: http://www.ammonyc.com/shop/ammo-wheel-regimen-kit/ For more how to car care videos & full product line: http://www.ammonyc.com Car Washing Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLABNq41vjJ6ObPDCI0jHcuj0McRNT38tb Paint Polishing Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLABNq41vjJ6PSStDl6rV-sVRRRMXvEPrO Drive Clean Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLABNq41vjJ6O5MaTyVE4VLqsxGDdaBwg- Larry’s Porsche Build Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLABNq41vjJ6Pirqv1Ppl8V3DCAQvhoDg7 Interior Detailing Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLABNq41vjJ6PYtW3XZn0vzw9g4ItKW2Gh Scratch Repair Tips Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLABNq41vjJ6NAlg6rjQq05jLZgVH3WMll AutoBlog Detailing Series: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLABNq41vjJ6NznCVHyTr4E_UC7vKzmSY- Subscribe to AMMO NYC for clean cars: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=AMMONYCdotcom Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AMMOnyc/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ammonyc/ For more product info: http://www.ammonyc.com/ AMMO NYC Channel Home Page: https://www.youtube.com/user/AMMONYCdotcom If this video was helpful, please give us a THUMBS UP! How To Meguiar's Professional Mirror Glaze Training Video
What began over a century ago as a simple furniture polish laboratory and plant in the garage of founder Frank Meguiar Jr., now spans three generations of Meguiar family stewardship. Meguiar's Inc. has become one of the world's leading surface care products companies, providing highly specialized products for almost every conceivable type of surface. In his wildest dreams, it's doubtful that Frank Meguiar Jr., could have foreseen what his bottle of furniture polish in 1901 would evolve into over the next 100 years. When he first began, he made one bottle of polish at a time using an eggbeater. Eventually, with the help of his kids, he was able to produce enough product at night to fill the next day's orders and pay for groceries. From his first bottle of furniture polish, Frank Meguiar Jr. was steadfastly determined never to sell a product unless he was convinced it was the very best of its kind on the market. To this day, the family follows that dictate and, as a result, is the number one selling car guy wax in America with the highest consumer loyalty. Meguiar's diversified product line is distributed in over 92 countries worldwide and consists of more than 300 different cleaners, polishes, waxes, conditioners, and protectants for homes, cars, boats, trains, planes, and almost every other type of surface. How to Detail Your Car Without Spending Your Life Savings Part 1
In part 1, I demonstrate how to properly wash your wheels and tires, wash the paint using the 2 bucket method, use a clay bar to remove microscopic paint contaminants, use an orbital polisher to compound swirl marks and haze out of the paint using rubbing compound, and finally, use the same orbital polisher to polish minor imperfections from the paint using polishing compound. I am not responsible for any mishaps that may have occurred from following these procedures. I do this to help you, the car owner, and cannot assume responsibility for any problems. Please use this information to help yourself, good luck, and take care. -6speeddakota
