2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Short Tour
I actually have one of these in Gran Turismo 5, and it's amazing! Mine's blue with black rims, carbon fiber hood, and its tuned up to 570 hp! In person, tho, this car seems kinda chintzy.
October 2011 PCA HPDE at Watkins Glen - Hiboost Evo X MR
Since my previous car had an engine fire after the One Lap of America trip in the spring, I had to start over and went with a 2011 Octane Blue Evo X MR with the SST transmission. This was a 2 day track event with the Niagara region Porsche Club of America (PCA) and I was running in the Black (Advanced) run group with the new Evo tuned to about 400 crank HP on the stock turbo. I was also running the stock Bilstein suspension that ended up being quite good thanks to a Hotchkis Rear Anti-sway Bar, TimmySpec Adjustable Rear Control Arms, and my own custom alignment. The car was very easy to drive to the limits and just lacked downforce in the higher speed sweeping turns. Much of the factory body roll could be avoided if you stayed away from sharp steering inputs and the sticky Hankook R-S3 tires had very even wear.
Plans are to get an upgraded turbo, fueling, braking, aero and coilover suspension installed before competing in the 2012 One Lap of America in the spring to bring it up to the performance levels I had on tap last year.

I hope to have this car ready to race in 600+ crank HP trim before the 2012 One Lap of America, watch for more videos as various upgrades are tested. You can bet that one of the upgrades will include a full fire suppression system as well!
