This car, called Montecarlo BRC, is a GT car which runs in the 2012 Endurance Champions Cup. The car has been developed by BRC Racing Team. This is the racing area of BRC Gas Equipement, a very important italian company, leader in manufacturing and trading automotive LPG and CNG conversion systems. The car has a 6 liters Audi W12 engine that can produce about 540 BHP and it's powered by a LPG system. The twin turbo V8 engine of the MP4 GT3 produces less power, compared to the road legal car (490 bhp instead of 592 bhp), due to homologation. I spend an afternoon in Lugano were I saw a gorgeous white and red Wiesmann MF5 GT, a very loud Ferrari F430 Scuderia with modified Exhaust and some other great cars. I saw some great cars in St. Moritz too, where last summer I spend a few hours there. Horrible crash Brno || Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 BURNS ||
Driver of Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 lost control and bumped into barriers. It was super Trofeo Lamborghini race at Brno circut. Sunday, May 23 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo - Official Statement Following the incident in yesterdays round four of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, after which the race was cancelled, a unanimous decision has been taken by all teams today to cancel the remainder of the weekends racing. The driver of car number 22, Giorgio Bartocci, was taken to hospital following an accident at the start of the first race of the weekend. He remains in intensive care in hospital in Brno, where his condition is currently stable. Rounds four, five and six of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo are therefore officially cancelled. Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3 PURE SOUND & Powerslides
The same day during which Audi was testing the new car for the 24h of Le Mans, Audi was also testing the evolution of the Audi R8 LMS, called Audi R8 LMS Ultra. The car races both in the 2012 Fia GT3 Championship and in the 2012 Fia GT1 Championship and also in many other world championships (Alms, Blancpain Endurance,etc..). In this video you can appreciate the loud sound that the V10 engine produces with a lot of full throttle accelerations, fast fly bys and downshifts. You can also appreciate some beautiful powerslides while accelerating out of the first corner and hitting the revs limiter. 2012 Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione PURE SOUND & Glowing Brakes
In this video you can hear the sound of the new Ferrari 599XX Evolution in action on the track of Monza. The V12 engine sounds really good ( the FXX is a lot better, for me) especially during the various downshifts. I have also to say that in first person the rear wing is not so ugly. In the pictures it looks like it's really too big but when you watch the car on the track you don't you don't pay much attention.
