1969 Dodge GTS 340 Four Barrel

It took a year of hard work and more money than I care to admit but I can finally let go of the 1969 Swinger I sold twenty years ago for tuition.

1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart from Hurst First Drive
The first drive of Troy's 1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart recreation. This car is a recreation of how racers originally recieved the cars from Hurst Corporation. Skinny tires, primer paint, transistorized ignition, heater delete, outside mirror delete, rear seat delete, no seam sealer, no sound deadener, no undercoating, and many many other tricks! The rolling burnout in this video was truely not done on purpose. Just bliping the throttle with those skinny bia plys will that! It's a correct looking 472 Hemi with the new TTI Hemi A-body headers. No need to have expensive custom header made for your car anymore! The rest of the Exhaust is straight back to glasspacks as delivered by Hurst. This was THE car TTI used to prototype and create the jigs for A-body Hemi Headers. This car has a 1968 idler, pitman, centerlink, with manual brakes. Motor is positioned as called out in the TTI instructions. Troy did extensive research and work to complete this project that took under 2 years to complete. Final paint application, engine machining, and seat covers, where the only 3 items he did not do in his 2 car garage!

Mopar 340 4 barrel 0-60 run

This show winning 1969 Dodge Dart GT belongs to a friend who was having the a/c serviced on that day. Motivation comes from a healthy sounding Mopar Performance 360 Crate Motor, 727 turbo Shift auto trans with 3200 rpm stall converter, and a 3:91 posi rear axle . . .

Mr. Norm Interview, Pt. 1 - How the '68 Dart GSS Was Created
Patrick Krook, CEO of ShowYourAuto.com, interviews legendary high-performance Dodge dealer Norman Kraus (Mr. Norm) on how his Grand Spaulding Dodge created the Dart GSS, a fire-breathing compact muscle car with a 383 c.i. engine that Dodge's engineers claimed couldn't be built. Ironically, this car inspired the factory-built Dart GTS with the same engine. You'll also find out what GSS stands for. To hear about Mr. Norm's new-for-the-21st --century Dart GSS, (behind him and Mr. Krook during this interview), be sure to watch Part 2, now live on ShowYourAutoTV! Go for a Spin in a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A with 340 Sixpack Engine and 320hp
http://www.rpmcollection.com Steve Cage shows you his awesome 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340 "Six Pack" muscle car in "Top Banana" yellow. The slapstick transmission function is used only for upshifts. You manually put it into first gear. As you accelerate - and the rpms are where you want it - you just slap the shift lever to the right. In order to race in the Sports Car Club of America's Trans American Sedan Championship, Dodge built the Dodge Challenger T/A (Trans Am). The 340 engine added a trio of two-barrel carburetors on top of an Edelbrock intake manifold, creating the "340 Six Pack". horsepower was about 320 hp. The engine breathed air through a suitcase sized air scoop molded into the fiberglass hood. Dual Exhausts ran to the stock muffler location under the trunk, then reversed direction to exit in chrome outlets in front of the rear wheels.
