1989 British Touring Car Championship - RS500 Sierra Cosworth
The 1989 British Touring Car Championship from the full Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.
The first race of the year was won by Andy Rouse in his 'Mighty' Ford Sierra RS500.
The next race at Thruxton was won by Robb Gravett.
Gravett then went on to win the next six races.
The last two races, at Thruxton and Silverstone, were also won by Rouse and Gravett.
It was the 'UnderDog', Rob Gravett who won the championship outright though, despite the teams season long struggle to run through the year on a very low budget & with no main sponsor !
BTCC 1990's Tribute
A tribute I made to the British Touring Car Championship in the 1990s. Music by AC/DC on Back In Black and Black Ice. Clips are Knockhill '94, '95, '96, Brands Hatch GP '96, Donington '95, Donington '98 and Silverstone '92
1987 BTCC Silverstone part 1.
The full race coverage of the onboard clip between the two Corollas. Quality reflects 25 year old video tape. I am a fan of 1980's group A racing, not of any car brand in particular. Look out for the rest of the race under my videos . Enjoy.

1989 Oulton park and time to re-shell my Capri
A round of the Slick 50 Road Saloon Championship, the Rover went for a play on the grass and I ended up in a Rover/Armco sandwhich, Ouch!

Mercedes AMG - The customer team Black Falcon will be at the starting line of the 24-hour race in Spa-Francorchamps on July 30, 2011 with the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3. The gullwing with start number 35 has been given the same look as the Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG with which Hans Heyer and Clemens Schickentanz achieved a class victory and overall second place 40 years ago. Among the drivers of the SLS AMG GT3 will be Kenneth Heyer, Hans Heyer's son.
