7/6/07 - The 2007 American Le Mans Series New England Grand Prix @ Lime Rock Park, Connecticut
Thanks to Audi Sport North America's amazing hospitality, Tim was able to get a ride around the track at Lime Rock Park in the brand new Audi R8 on qualifying day for the 2007 ALMS race. Although it doesn't look like they are going very fast, the car is actually going over 100 mph at some points...in the rain!
*Earlier in the day, Tim also got to take a couple laps around the track in the official pace car: a BMW M5. They went quite a bit faster in that car (about 140 mph) because it was dry at the time.

Corvette and Ferrari Crash
At a local event for a track day, some Corvettes and Ferraris get tangled up in Big Bend at Lime Rock. Keep your eye on the front of the pack.
Nobody was hurt but 3 cars did get some damage and alot of other cars got wet and muddy from avoiding the carnage.

Spotted on vacation! I heard from a lot of people around me on the camping that there often comes an Audi R8, Most of all in the Weekend. And it was true! On a Friday evening I heard a really nice V8 sound And from that moment i got my camera (Sony Cybershot DSC-H50) and went to the HQ of the camping. WOW there it was! Grey with Silver side blades! The owner asked us if we wanted to go for a ride on Sunday. Yeah!! We don't let us say that twice!!
