7/6/07 - The 2007 American Le Mans Series New England Grand Prix @ Lime Rock Park, Connecticut
Thanks to Audi Sport North America's amazing hospitality, Tim was able to get a ride around the track at Lime Rock Park in the brand new Audi R8 on qualifying day for the 2007 ALMS race. Although it doesn't look like they are going very fast, the car is actually going over 100 mph at some points...in the rain!
*Earlier in the day, Tim also got to take a couple laps around the track in the official pace car: a BMW M5. They went quite a bit faster in that car (about 140 mph) because it was dry at the time.
How I can afford an Audi R8 at 25 years old
Here's the much requested video explaining what I do for a living and how
I've got to the point where I can afford this R8 at 25 years old. Hopefully
it is interesting to some of you and doesn't bore you too much :)

Andre Gomes - VIR - Skip Barber Summer Series 2013
This was my first race ever. I won the Skip Barber Indy Car Academy and
will be racing in the 2013 summer series.
Video was cut short due to car breaking down (fuel pump) after visiting the
pits. Started the second race of the weekend in 13th due to not finishing
the first. Moving up the field I was tagged from behind and had to visit
the pits. Finished 6th. No video because the camera fell off when I was hit
and I never found it.
note: People seem to think I just missed my braking point when I went off.
I thought we would hit since the other driver moved over really quickly,
and I let off the brakes for my car to steer more and the grass didn't help
me slow down either. My car was down on power and I was trying to do what
I could about it.

and unless you know what you're doing, do not fool around with very serious
machinery just because you've seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a
