How to lower a swing axle VW with DropPlates, similar to drop spindles part 1.wmv
This video demonstrates the proper way to lower an air-cooled VW and shows how easy it can be to get your ride to drive smoothly even though the vehicle is lowered. You can do it the right way! It is part 1 in a 4-part series. The vehicle in focus is a swing-axle Volkswagen that has the short torsion bars, but soon the racing spring-plates (DropPlates and RaisePlates) will be available for all air-cooled models.
My good customer Sean from Hawaii says that his ride is the best it has ever been. You can find this vehicle and my name mentioned in the center-spread of this the latest issue (March 2012) of Hot VWs. If you want to know what other people think about Atomwerk Drop Plates then pick up an issue and open it to the middle!

1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Engine Start
First time starting up the 2333 cc engine (91x84mm) that I installed in my wife's freshly restored 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. Yes, I know my coil is installed upside-down. The after-market wire harness was installed with too little slack to reach a downward-pointing coil. This is temporary.
