2010 Stormtrooper E70 BMW X5 Chemical Guys Detail
6 hours of chemical guys and smartwax vs. this sick X5. Vehicle was
vacuumed, and the interior was scrubbed using chemical guys leather
cleaner, and an interior detail spray. The wheels were cleaned using an
acid free cleaner. Then, the exterior was washed with clear-coat safe
sponges, and pH balanced car shampoo using the two bucket method. It was
dried with a microfiber drying towel, and got a coat of 100% caranuba wax.
While the wax was setting, the leather was conditioned, and the wood sealed
and buffed to shine. The residue from the wax was removed, and the wheel
wells, black plastic, and tires were dressed. Finally, a pass with quick
detailer, windows were cleaned, and the owner was left grinning.
BMW X5 vs snow
To prevent stupid comments:
* The X5 had studded winter tires. (Parked next to my car several times and
for some reason I always look at other cars' tires.) The tires were not
worn out. In fact, they seemed quite new.
* The driver is a man. He has shown his "excellent" style several times
after filming this, and with his other car (the blue one) too.
* The empty parking spot next to the BMW was mine. I managed to get out of
it without any problems. And I have a rear-wheel drive car with studless
winter tires. Yes, there was some snowfall before the BMW started its
quest, but not much and it didn't make any real difference.
* "Learn how to drive!" / "Buy some winter tires!" / etc - I am not the
driver of this car. I am not going to send him your message. YouTube is not
going to send him your message. Your comment is pointless. The video is
more than two years old. He probably has better driving skills now. When
you post comments like that, you look like a dumbass who is shouting at the
TV - nothing is going to change and your message will not get through.
* Filmed in Estonia.

For 2014 BMW took their successful three row crossover back to the cosmetic
surgeon for a face lift inside and out. The same three engine options as
2013 return for the 2014 model year and we expect a tweaked version of the
M5''s twin-turbo V8 to make a cameo for
the 2015 BMW X5M.
While the engine lineup remains the same, power is up slightly in the V8
model to 445 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of
torque. The 3.0L diesel model makes a return for 2014 as the slower but
more efficient option.
If you're shopping the X5, you should also put the Mercedes ML and perhaps
even the Jeep Grand Cherokee on your short list. The Acura MDX SH-AWD
compares well to the 3.0L turbo model,
but the Japanese competitor is easily outclassed by the X5's V8.
