Honda S2000/ Prelude Steering Wheel Removal & Installation
How I removed my S2000 steering wheel on my Honda Prelude. Tools needed are
14mm socket, T30 Torx screwdriver.
To remove the steering wheel:
1) Disconnect Positive from Battery
2) Remove the left and right side covers on the steering wheel.
3) Using Torx T30, unscrew the 2 screws on left and right side.
4) Pull off air bag and disconnect yellow connector
5) Loosen(don't remove) 14mm bolt in the center
6) Pull the steering wheel off, using rocking motion left/right & up/down
7) Once loose, remove the 14mm bolt and pull the steering wheel off.
Installation is in reverse order
