Rat Rod vs Lamborghini Aventador! Roadkill Episode 5
On this episode of Roadkill, HOT ROD's David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan
spend 24 crazy hours with a 1930 Model A Rat Rod and a 2012 Lamborghini
Aventador to find out which wildly impractical, larger-than-life car
attracts the most attention.
Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the new Motor Trend channel.

HOT ROD REUNION 2008
Trailer from the official DVD, Power Hot Rod Reunion 2008 in Malmby ,Sweden
.You'll see and hear hot cars with attitude!
1929 Ford Coupe Hot Rod ~ Running Day 1
So the first day off the trailer we took out the car and it died on us
leaving us stranded. Started troubleshooting with the builder and found
out it wasn't getting spark. Tracing wires we found that the ballast
resistor wire had been pulled out of the spade connector. Simple fix so
we're back up and running. More videos to come.

September 12-14, 2014 - New England Hot Rod Reunion - New England Dragway -
One of the coolest moments from the New England Hot Rod Reunion was being
able to coordinate a surprise warm-up for longtime family friend, Mike
Gamache, in the King and Marshall AA/FD run by Helger Bros. Speed Shop and
Race Team. My family met Mike 34 years ago up at Sanair Dragway in St. Pie,
Quebec, for NHRA's annual Le Grandnationals Molson. Mike and his
rambunctious group of friends cheered us on as we and other racers paraded
up the return road in front of the grandstands following each run. The
group's infamous handmade Styrofoam signs were nothing short of comedic in
rating a racer's accomplishments. "Not 1/2 Bad!" "10" or the original
hand-drawn 'Thumbs-Up' (take that, Zuckerberg!) were their go-to responses.
Mike has followed us along via the internet in our travels around the US
covering nostalgia events, and had made it known that one day he would make
it to one of the big meets in the states again. The New England Hot Rod
Reunion proved to be the perfect fit to get his fill of 'old school
racing', and so he made plans to attend this year's event. Unbeknownst to
Mike, we made arrangements for him to get a warm-up in the King and
Marshall AA/FD at some point during the weekend. Due to Saturday's schedule
getting rained out, it ended up happening Sunday after Cacklefest. To say
that this was the highlight of Mike's weekend would be a gross
understatement. It might be a toss-up to the selfie he got with Honoree
Jungle Pam Hardy. Our sincere thanks to Cody Helger, Jesse Helger, Ray
Helger, and Jimmy King for your generous time and effort in granting this
request for our friend. I think it's safe to say he pretty much floated
home to Montreal.
