my review of these mufflers
just got one of them in the mail today. as soon as i get the other one i'll be on my way to the muffler shop....with open headers lolololololol
i cant stand the sound of flowmasters.... they're over used and sound like a guy with asthma yelling into a metal trash can. if you like that sound, then by all means fork out $90 for each one. just dont drive it by my house because the sound bothers me :)
i wanted something retro, different, and cheap. the glass pack seemed to fit the bill. the real test will be once they're welded on the car.
edit: just looked up the part number on the old mufflers and it turns out that they're ANCIENT cherry bomb turbos.

here is a video of my civic (beater and school car) with a new cherry bomb glasspack muffler. it sounds ok a lil ricey for my taste but not too bad. cost me about 20 bucks for everything and i still have the factory muffler to go on it
eagle talon tsi w/cherry bomb
this is my car. stock except muffler, cherry bomb,eibach springs, open dump tube(o2 housing vents to the atmosphere), @7psi ,14b turbo. i just made this vid to show how an eagle talon sounds with a cherry bomb where the catalytic converter used to be. was only Boosting around 7 psi because the turbo was Boosting off the w/g actuator spring. i have a mbc for it now at 11 psi.
