ISIS Power F100- Heidts Front Crossmember Part 2
Jay Harris of ISIS Power shows the progress on the front end of the Heidts Superide II IFS. We're completely replacing the original leaf-spring suspension on the new chassis for our 1955 Ford F100 Panel truck, the ISIS truck. We welded up the boxing plates on the front end, then squared up the new front cross member and tacked it in. After we checked square again, we welded it in and cleaned everything up. 53 GMC 4.8L LS cammed
This is the current project my father and I are doing. Its a 1953 GMC 5 Window Pickup, with a 2006 4.8L LS engine. Bought what was supposed to be a 5.3L and found out when we pulled it apart to do a cam swap its a 4.8L. March Enterprises Billet Serpentine Kit Comp Cams XR-265 Camshaft (high lift version) Sanderson LS1 headers dual 2 1/2" Exhaust with Thrush Welded turbo mufflers and crossover pipe 4l60e transmission 10 bolt posi rear end 3:23 gears T.C.I. Enterprises Mustang 2 IFS kit in the front end T.C.I. adjustable 4 link with coilovers in the rear Fully boxed factory 53' frame 17 gallon aluminum fuel cell with in tank pump, corvette filter/regulator combo 18X8" Boss Motorsports black 5 spokes with chrome lip ECM completely reflashed for this exact engine, camshaft, torque converter, gear ratio, and tire diameter. Painless engine managment harness and chassis harness, complete with OBD2 diagnostic port. WAY too much to try and list!
