1995 Ford Falcon Outback XG ute
Australian Ford ute promotional video from 1995:
"Outback in the Outback: the Falcon Longreach Outback Ute.
When a two wheel drive Falcon Longreach ute came twelfth overall in last
year's Australian Safari, a lot of people thought, 'I'd like one of those."
Well now they can have one.
The Longreach Outback ute is based on the class winning vehicle that
covered the 6,240km between Sydney and Darwin.
'Outback in the outback' proves that you don't need four wheel drive every
time you drive off the tarmac.
The Longreach Outback isn't intended to replace four wheel drives; some
people will always need one. But this film convincingly shows the Outback's
abilities. And they may well be exactly what you need.
Have you driven a Ford... Lately?"
