Rusty Roof Replacement - 1968 Cougar
If you have an old car that came with a vinyl top, chances are that you have some rust issues in the roof. This was the case with Andrew's car - a 1968 Mercury Cougar that his grandparents bought brand new in '68. In this video, Andrew takes matters into his own hands to replace his rusted roof skin with a solid donor roof from another car. He is by no means a restoration expert, just an amateur trying to save some money and save his car. Need a roof or other body panels for your classic Cougar? West Coast Classic Cougar has it all. Check us out at http://www.cougarpartscatalog.com or give us a call at (503) 463-1130 . (c) 2011 West Coast Classic Cougar, Inc. Music in the video is from royalty-free sources, except for the Toccata and Fugue in D (used during the brief B&W horror sequence). Performed by Peter Hurford. An advertisement appears on this video in order to pay royalties to the copyright holder, not for our own gain.

1968 Mercury Cougar Finally back on all 4 new tires!
A video showing my Cougar with the new tires on it, finally off the jack stands, and on the tires! I got all 4 tires the same size, but it still looks good! The old tires were way too big on the back, and even smaller than what is on now, on the front. So, now at least everything is 'equalized' out! I also decided to show my other 'old' cars, and what I have to do to them next, before I start driving them again. My poor Hurst/Olds still has no engine, or trans. I did make a promise to myself to get that car running before the car show season starts, so we can take the Cougar, and it to shows! Hopefully, I can keep my promise!

1966 Ford Mustang 289 HiPo
This is my 1966 Ford Mustang with a 289 cubic inch "K" code High Performance V-8. Still using the factory internal guts, but have full roller rockers, guideplates, race valves, 3 angle valve job, port/polish, all round port matching, 10:1 compression, pointless high energy ignition, etc. Has a Weiand Stealth high rise, 1" spacer, Holley 670cfm 4-barrel (huge for a 289). Custom cam patterned around a 289HiPo/Boss302. 230 duration @ 50, 270@20, 108 LSA, 500 lift. Very hot cam with a nice medium lope. (more)

1970 Torino Cobra 429CJ 4-Speed For Sale! (SOLD)
This car has been sold! Video will be left up for posterity, and because it's awesome. eBay auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181246173812 This listing is for my beloved 1970 429 CJ, Ford Torino Cobra with a factory 4-speed transmission. This car is unusual in that it came with manual drum brakes and manual steering. A friend of mine sold me this car just before he passed away several years ago. Max bought the car in the early 80's from the original owner (see documentation) so that makes me the third registered owner. The 429 CJ motor and transmission were completely rebuilt by Alderidge Motor Sports in Portland, OR. As the video attests to and the documentation shows, a top notch job was ordered and it runs out VERY strong. The drive-train has about 30,000 miles on it since the extensive rebuild and would need very little to be rated a 10. It does not have its numbers-matching block anymore, and the carburetor is an aftermarket Holley, incorrect numbered distributor and other minor details need attention or are not correct (see video). It has a VERY solid Western body and some very nice interior parts. Please watch the video for specifics as I go into much further detail there. Feel free to call me at 503-463-1130 if you need further information. I feel this car is worth about $25,000.00, but my reserve is much less than that. We can help with shipping worldwide as I have done it many times over the last 25 years. I will consider trades for 67-73 parts or parts cars. Thank you! Don Rush 503-463-1130

1968 Cougar 427 GT-E at Barrett-Jackson, Scottsdale 2011
This is the story of Brian Aust and his 1968 Mercury Cougar 427 GT-E. Over the course of about 5 years, he undertook a painstaking restoration to bring the car to the highest level he could, with a little help from his friends (and lots of advice from folks on http://www.mercurycougar.net ). On January 22, 2011, he drove it onto the auction block at Barrett-Jackson, stepped out, and watched it sell for... well, you'll just have to watch to find out! WCCC TV was there to chronicle the experience for your enjoyment, so relax and enjoy! Don't forget to subscribe to our channel to keep up to date with our latest videos.
