Truck Fest 2013: Smokey Big Rigs Burnouts & Drag Racing Revealed
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) When you think of a Big Rig Semi...you probably
don't immediately think of drag racing...or do you? This weekend at
Bandimere Speedway just outside of Denver, Colorado hundreds of Big Rig
Semi trucks lined up on the drag strip to see which one is the kind of the
mile high drag strip and which one is the fastest mile high pickup
dragster. Can a big rig run a sub 20 second quarter mile? You bet. Can a
big rig run a sub 15 mile....no problem. Can a Big Rig run a sub 10 second
time? You'll have to watch the video to find out. In another fun and
informative TFLtruck video we see what happens when the Big Rig Semi Trucks
line up behind the Christmas Tree.

San Diego STREET RACING
1320Video made a visit down to SoCal to see what kind of badass street cars
roamed the streets at night. A few badass Supras, swapped & turbo'd nissans, GT-R's, Corvettes, twin turbo 350Z, a bike all came out to play on short
notice making for quite a night of street racing!
Return to Lions Drag Strip Long Beach California 2008
This is the third year of featuring restored dragsters that have run the
1320' Lions Drag Strip in its hey day... This video, typical of going to a
drag strip, despite John Ewald telling everyone to stand back, you never
get to see much when they display cars this way. Typical of the drag strip,
all the vehicles require too much support, they stand around the car and
block the view.... At the CHRR in Bakersfield, the Cacklefest is blocked by
a bunch of folks standing at the concrete wall on the track blocking the
view to the grand stands as if the concrete barrier wasn't enough....I have
been going to the drags since I was a youngster and it seems the problem is
no one can stay seated for a run and your typical day at the drags to this
day takes on a Jack in the Box atmosphere.... I guess that is the way it
is.....Anyway, the City of Long Beach Chamber of Commerce puts on a nice
event and I hope it continues into the future.
DRAG RACE LEGEND: Billy Frontuto Part 1 of 2
From the 9 1/2 hour documentary on the history of hot rodding. The Dreams
of Legends presents 'The Way It REALLY Was' part 3: DRAG RACING.
Billy Frontuto grew up in East L.A., becoming the first man to ever spend
30 days in jail for street racing in 1955. For the next 3 decades, Billy
was as hard of a racer as there was around, being one of the brave men to
first pioneer the wildly exciting Fuel Altered Roadster class, until
becoming paralyzed in 1972 in a freak accident at the Phoenix Firebird
Raceway. To this day, he lives and works out of the same wheelchair that he
left the hospital with, and has never missed a beat in racing. One of my
favorite people in the world; Billy Frontuto is one of my best friends, my
biggest hero, and the baddest mutha fucka I've ever know.
