BEST BURNOUT EVER! SUMMERNATS GUINNESS WORLD RECORD BURNOUT!
Summernats 26 broke a Guinness World Record for the most amount of cars in
simultaneous burnout on January 4, 2013 in Canberra, Australia. When the
massive blanket of smoke eventually cleared, Chris Sheedy from Guinness
World Records told the 10,000 plus crowd that exactly 69 cars had managed
to complete a 30 second burnout. Sixty nine. That's a 'Nats kind of number.
Drivers came from all across Australia to fry their tyres together in this
historic event, some traveling thousands of kilometres from Western
Australian and Northern Queensland to take part in the rare feat.
138 tyres x 30 seconds x over 35,000 horsepower = 1 world record.
Thank you to the drivers, staff and sponsors for making this incredible

responses are anything to go by, we're in for one hell of a long

Summernats and had to cach up on some much needed sleep.
Here's the grand finale, with the finals for the Dyno and burnouts. Sorry i
didn't get much more footage of day five but it was hectic enough getting
all this. Hope you enjoyed the videos this year. Remember to SUBSCRIBE so
you don't miss a thing.
Holden Monaro GTS street twins
Vince and Adrian's Holden HQ Monaro GTS's are quite similar in
modification, both running pump fuel small block Chev V8 power plants. Both
cars drove to the track in full street trim, ran 10s and drove home.
