Describes the operation of the HONDA V-Tec variable valve timing system. Like never seen before, this animation goes into details on the mechanical principle of the V-Tec system. The Honda V-Tec system is a dual setting variable valve timing system. It is meant to give high efficiency and low power at lower RPM and high power and low efficiency at higher RPMs. There have been a few incarnations of V-Tec, which came out in the late 80's, but their principle is the same. Rsx turbo vs Viper
mild build turbo on 16 psi against a viper 3 pulls but there was alot of traffic....
Turbo RSX Type S vs Supercharged RSX Type S
My 480whp turbo RSX against a 300whp supercharged RSX
Supercharged RSX was tuned with Nitrous @ 340whp but ran out of spray midway in the 2nd run. First run he was not spraying however.
First run we started in 2nd gear, and you can hear me just spinning until I catch mid way in 3rd lol
2nd run I had him start just before me while in 3rd gear.
Final pull by me at the end was in 3rd gear as well.
Turbo Acura RSX-S Kpro
This is a video of a turbo Acura RSX Type-S from Heatwave 2007. This thing was putting 380hp to the wheels with the kpro. Very nice daily driver!
Hondata RSX 227 mph spin
Bonneville Salt flats. Qualifying run for G/BGCC class (2 litre, Blown, spec Gas, Competition Coupe class. Spun out just after the 5th mile and hit a cone. Flat spotted all 4 tyres, but quaified for a record. Backed up the record the next morning with a 234 mph run with a 100 shot of Nitrous. Speedweek 2008. See earlier 211 mph pass video.
