2009 DSM SHOOTOUT
Some of the stuff to see at the 2009 DSM shootout. Sorry I could not have
me camera with me at all times, but if you wanted to see it you should have
been there instead of some "other" place.
500+hp dsm on the streets in car
On the way back from a race. Driving the car on hoosier tires, kinda wobly.
Turned the Boost down to 26psi from
I've got an AEM EMS in this car.
That day it went 10.6@130mph on pump gas.
Few weeks later it went 9.6@148mph on "race gas"
Stock motor dsm 35r dyno
This run was made on an awd Dynojet on 23psi and 93oct. with
a stock motor and 35r it made 425whp and 357tq.
420a DSM-ZERO 661hp & 463tq at 30psi NEW WORLD RECORD!!
661 @ 7600 rpm did not push it that hard on the Dyno saving the rest for the
track. GT40r 67mm inducer precision turbo, All we did was make a nice fuel map and add
Boost. There still alot let in the
car we can strech the afr and advance timmig and fine tune the cams also.
10psi 302hp, 20psi 463hp, 30psi 661hp, this was only the 5th pull of the
day also lol
team 1320 SS LS1 vs 700+whp cobra vs fast dsm's
ls1 has mild cam and bolt ons with 100 shot, cobra made just over 700whp,
1st dsm running the ls1 has a t3/4 (not sure of wheel trim)and running i
believe high 20's in Boost, 2nd dsm
running a gt40 and 20psi on basic tune
Paul Volk's compound turbo Eclipse dyno
This is the first successful compound turbo'd DSM (thought there's a few now :-) ). It
uses a little B16G and a 60-1. Running 47 PSI and flowing roughly 75
lbs/min airflow. Also, this is an AWD car, but Dynoing in FWD mode (AWD Dynos are rare around here).
Power was down due to slight clutch slippage, lack of traction on the
roller, and a backpressure/reversion issue. The blank areas on the Dynograph are where we lost
ignition signal on the pickup (really needed two of them).
