2014 Audi A4 Test Drive Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/audi/a4/2014/?id=32972 The 2014 Audi A4 is a
Premium Compact Car that can be optioned out as a luxury car or a sports
sedan. While it's true the Audi A4 is aging and nearing the end of its
lifespan, it remains a compelling automobile. The clean and conservative
design has withstood the test of time and the interior is filled with high
quality details. Under the hood lives a fuel efficient and powerful turbocharged engine while the Quattro AWD system
makes the car handle on rails. There is very little to complain about when
it comes to the 2014 Audi A4.
The model tested here is the Premium Plus trim which starts at $37,300;
that is until you add on the Navigation Package, Sport Package, and Black
Optic Package. Now the price swells to over $43k. So how does this compact
sedan stack up against the competition?
There is no denying the Audi A4 looks great. The Black Optic Package adds a
set of 19-inch rims finished with a titanium look which are fantastic. The
Black Optics Package also includes a blacked-out grille.
The A4 only has one engine option and that is a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder that
makes 220 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of
torque. The car feels strong thanks to the high torque figures. The A4 also
manages some excellent fuel economy numbers for an AWD car at 20 MPG in the
city and 29 MPG on the highway.
One of the best things about driving the Audi A4 is the engine. By the
numbers the powerplant does not seem that exciting. But this turbocharged engine has been around for many years
and Volkswagen has clearly refined it so. The Quattro AWD system makes the
car a blast to drive.

On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago heads back to Fontana and the
mountainous roads of Angeles Crest Highway to tackle the newest update to
the Audi S4, the considerably faster and more aggressive version of the
popular A4 sedan. The 2013 Audi S4 is just as precise but with much more
attitude and when equipped with the Sport Differential, the all-wheel-drive
sedan rotates almost like one of its rear-wheel drive counterparts.
Will the new Audi S4's V6T engine reign supreme over the previous
generation's V8? Will people even be able to tell the difference between
the S4 and that A4? Stay tuned to find out.

2012 Audi A4 Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/audi/a4/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Audi A4 is a good
looking luxury car with wonderful proportions, a great engine, and a
legendary AWD system. The A4 was really the car that in the late 1990's
revitalized the Audi brand. Audi has been way ahead of the curve when it
comes to the compact luxury sedan segment. The A4 has long had a small
displacement fuel efficient engine and permanent Quattro AWD. Its just
recently that the offerings from BMW and Mercedes-Benz at this level come
with the options previously mentioned. The base model front wheel drive

The 2012 Audi A4 is powered by a turbocharged and direct injected 2.0 liter
4-cylinder engine that makes 2011 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of
torque. The A4 comes in either front wheel drive or all wheel drive
formats. The AWD system is called Quattro which has been around since 1980.
Transmission choices are a 6-speed manual, CVT, or an advanced 8-speed
automatic called Tiptronic. Fuel economy varies depending on transmission
and what driveline configuration you choose. The FWD A4 with the
Multitronic CVT gets 21 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway.
Inside the A4 the driver and passengers are treated to a high-end luxurious
experience. The surfaces are covered in genuine leather and you can choose
between wood or aluminum trim pieces. Audi is known for having one of the
most technologically advanced media systems. The MMI or Multi-Media
Interface is available on the 2012 Audi A4. This unit is a 7" touch screen
navigation system located in the dash. MMI not only offers navigation but
you can control other systems like the stereo and Bluetooth connection just
to name a few. Speaking of stereo, the Audi A4 has an optional 14-speaker
505 watt Premium Bang & Olufsen Sound System.
The Audi A4 was named a 2012 IIHS Top Safety pick. The A4 has six airbags
including front and side impact. There is an Electronic Stability Control
system that uses ABS and traction control to help keep the driver safe and
keep the car on the road. The passenger cabin is made from high-strength
steel with crumple zones that work together to keep the occupants safe in
the event of a crash.
The compact luxury sedan segment is packed full of great vehicles. But Audi
has a leg up on the competition since they offer a vehicle with a fuel
efficient engine, an 8-speed transmission, Quattro AWD, and tons of
luxurious features and amenities.

just finished putting the kids through college and you're ready to

The 2014 is chock-full of refinements and feels completely premium in every
aspect. The feeling and aroma of the materials used, the way the quattro

doors - it all fuses together to be a super composed and high quality
With one of the most intuitive navigation/technology interface systems in
cars today and internet (and Wi-Fi hotspot) connectivity, the A4 is super
savvy. The smartest part of the technology, if you ask me, is the voice
command - it's very natural and easy to use without having to take your
eyes off the road.
Design-wise the A4 is sleek and athletic without any sharp angles. The A4
is surprisingly long, which contributes to spacious interiors (especially
for tall occupants) and an ample trunk. And of course, the A4 has been
designed to be tremendously safe.

With a wide range of petrol and diesel engines on offer, a huge list of
options and a choice of different suspension set-ups, Audi A4 buyers have
plenty of choice. For the ultimate in comfort and low running costs, go for
the 2.0 TDI in SE trim, but for a sportier drive the 2. TFSI turbo petrol model in S line trim is the best bet
- although you'll need to ask yourself if you can live with the stiff
suspension all the time. Whichever model you choose, you'll be rewarded
with an excellent all-rounder, and as soon as you get behind the wheel and
experience the high quality interior, you'll realise why the A4 is so

2014 Audi RS5 vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 507 Coupe! - Head 2 Head Ep. 51
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman sets out to discover which
German hot-rod-personal-luxury-coupe is the best you can get. The 507 Coupe
is the last iteration of the W204 C63. With the exception of the very
limited-run Black Series, it's the best C63 that AMG has ever done. Under
its hood sits a hand-built, 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V-8 good for 507
more do you want? Perhaps something more high-tech, and that's where the
Audi RS5 comes in. The sexy coupe from Quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm features
a 4.2-liter V-8 that spits out 450 hp. That¹s less power than the 507
Coupe makes, true, but the Audi also features AWD, a dual-clutch
transmission, bigger wheels and tires, plus a trick torque-vectoring rear
differential. Which one is quicker? Which one is more fun to drive? Which
one is best? Watch and find out!

Roadfly.com - 2011 Audi A4 Road Test & Review
The stylish and slick Audi A4 returns for 2011 with an all-new eight-speed
automatic transmission that raises fuel economy to a remarkable 22 mpg in
the city and 30 on the highway.
Its engine is a 2 liter turbocharged
four-cylinder engine that musters 211 horses and a decent 258 pound-feet of
torque. We would've liked to see more power out of the A4, considering its
main competitors, the BMW 3-series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, easily
outshine the A4 when it comes to power and acceleration. However, Audi's
standard all-wheel drive gives the ride a very stable and competent feel,
you'll never feel out of control in the A4.
And the interior of the A4 is where Audi might just take the lead in its
class in terms of quality. The standard leather is much more plush than you
might find in a 3-series or a C-Class without adding more and more
additional packages. The infotainment screen is well implemented and
convenient, you're never at a loss for intuitive response from all of your
With a base price of $34,140, the Audi A4 is a strong and beautiful
competitor to more expensive competition from other European manufacturers,
for those who perhaps prefer efficiency and style over raw driving power.
