Climb - Pikes Peak Hill Climb with a Monster

Ride on the bumper of a screaming 910hp, Twin-turbo, All-wheel Drive, 150 mph Suzuki SX4 as it races up one of the world's most dangerous hills. An attempt by the "Monster" to break his own record of 10:01:41... COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 29, 2010) -- For the fifth consecutive time, Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima combined experience, skill and Falken Tires to claim overall victory in the 88th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Although he did not set a new Pikes Peak record, one day before his 60th birthday, Tajima continues to hold the current overall record for reaching the peak, beating hill climb veterans Paul Dallenbach and Rhys Millen in the Unlimited Class. He drove his new 910-hp Monster Sport Suzuki SX4 Hill Climb Special on Falken WildPeak A/T tires, the powerful new line of all-terrain, all-season tires Falken launched this past April. Following Exhaustive tests in a Japanese wind tunnel facility, Monster's 2010 Pikes Peak race car underwent extensive aerodynamic changes to better adapt to the modified road surface on the race to the clouds, which assumed a smoother tarmac and less gravel than last year. Thinning air ascending the mountain robs most motors of their power by 30 or more percent, but the increase in horsepower over last year's race car helped push the driver forward.

Falken Tire: 2013 Forza Motorsports // Livery Contest
Falken Tire teams up with Turn 10 studios to form a Forza Motorpsorts 4 Livery Contest for the community on Xbox 360. Winning livery was fabricated on real Falken Tire's Porsche GT3 RSR and races to win the race of Petit Le Mans Road Atlanta. Subaru BRZ Livery contest coming soon to Forza Motorsprots 5 on Xbox One. "Turn 10 Studios has been making Forza Motorsport for almost 10 years now and It really represents the combination of car lovers and gamers. Getting people interested in car culture and gaming culture. we are exactly the people that we're making our game for. We are a collection of car fanatics, we love tuning and wrenching on our own cars. We also have a lot of enthusiasts here at Falken Tire, which makes it a really easy fit for us to collaborate and do this partnership together. I think its great for Forza to have the Falken Porsche in game. What it brings to our players is the ability to take a real world race-car that they see every weekend racing around the United States and bring it into the game and be able to actually experience what it's like to take that full bred race-car onto the same tracks they see at race every weekend. And try to beat the lap times, win the race and compete against their friends. It's an important part of actually bringing fantasy to life. The livery contest actually came about from a collaboration that Forza and the American Le Mans series did together during our 2013 season. Each month they would work with a different team to do a promotion of some sort and we really wanted to do something unique. For decades now we have ran a traditionally teal and blue Falken Motorsports livery on everything that we race. Falken Tire challenged our fans to paint their car. ultimately one of our fans liveries was chosen and painted onto their car to race at Petit Le Mans in Road Atlanta. Livery creation in Forza Motorsport isn't necessarily easy, it's meant to empower artists the tools meant to give them a way for them to express themselves. so the amazing works of art they create simply can't be created by everyone. The painters and tuners in Forza Motorsport are continually pushing the boundaries what can be be done in game. And thats why were excited to bring that community together with Falken Tire. Out of 200 submissions of different designs, we basically chose the top 6, and then we left it up to our Facebook fans to decide who the winning design was. turned out to be a designer from Belgium named Kevin Neuville. Talk about a unique opportunity you know, thiswas the first and probably the last time that you'll ever see a one off design on our Porsche program and for it to be the time we win Petit Le Mans is a pretty rare opportunity to say the least. As we approach the release of Forza Motorsport 5, Falken Tire has challenged our community again. This time to paint Dai Yoshihara's Subaru BRZ, the one that will compete in the 2014 season. Taking a step even further the Porsche livery that was a one event limited time contest. The BRZ livery is actually going stay on the vehicle for the duration of the 2014 Formula D season. Im anxious to see what creative ideas come out of that contest."

The 2010 JK Experience Teaser
The 2nd annual Off Road Evolution JK Experience presented by Falken Tire was a great success! A weeklong off-road event exclusively for JeepĀ® Wrangler JK's. This year the participants tackled trails in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. The JK's encountered various levels of terrain from switch back mountain climbs, rock obstacles, rain, snow, mud and sand. All participants were required to be self sufficient and prepared for anything, even a night or two of camping in the rain. Thanks again to all our sponsors who made this event possible for the participants and the crew, the 2nd annual JK Experience will not soon be forgotten. The JKX DVD will be available for sale this December. Until then, visit our website www.jk-experience.com and our facebook page to see photos of the 2010 JK Experience and see what's in the works for the 2011 JK Experience.
