2012 CHALLENGER SRT8 6.4L vs. 2009 PONTIAC G8 GT
Made a couple of friendly pulls in the wife's G8 with a buddy's new
Challenger he recently bought. 4th gear was giving him trouble, so we
didn't get to get the ideal 40-130MPH pulls we wanted to do, but fun
2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 - 6.4L Hemi, Exhaust, tires/wheels.
2009 Pontiac G8 GT - American Racing long tube headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, Rotofab CAI, Powerbond underdrive
pulley, DBA drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk performance pads, throttle
body port & polish and East Texas Muscle Cars custom Dyno tune - 371RWHP and 387RWTQ.

Procharged Heads and Cam Pontiac G8 GT 1/4 Racing at GMP 10.97 @ 127.7 1.729 60'
Lazy 60 foot, for some reason the car was 67% throttle until 7mph. Car was
60 footing in the 1.61's last year. Banged the limiter on the 3-4 shift and
pulled the throttle back and 25* of timing when that happened. Hope to make
it back out soon and get a clean pass.
1st gear saw a peak of 9.72psi
2nd was 10.15
3rd was 10.88 on the limiter

Pontiac G8 GT Custom True Dual Exhaust LOUD!
With the Exhaust work finally redone,
this is the end result. What this is, is a custom straight pipe Exhaust from the cat back to the mini glass
packs acting as the axle backs. More specifically, there is no mid
muffler, no resonators, no stock axle back mufflers, just two separate
lengths of 2 and a quarter inch pipe and two eight inch+/- glasspacks.
Which are just enough to pass inspection.
What all that means is, this thing is apocalyptically loud when I want it
to be, but relatively docile when I need it to be. Road drone is
surprisingly low and what little there is the radio can easily over power
without pulling too much off the 550 watt Soundstream Tarantula... but
that's another video....
