Supra with stock turbos and basic upgrades takes out a Viper GTS at the track.
Mods on the supra at the time of the race consisted of only a downpipe and a Boost controller (less than $250) in mods.

Replica 1965 Shelby Cobra owned by Len B, produced by Kirkham Motor Sports. The car only weighs 2100 pound due to its aluminum body which is made in Poland at a former MIG aircraft factory. The cars weight is also low due to aluminum suspension and motor. The motor is a Shelby aluminum block 427fe which produces 700 horse power (i.e., FAST) !!! That is the same power to weight ratio as a bullet bike.
To the dismay of several bullet bike riders; Len likes to show them who is "the boss" in a race from time to time.

let me get this straight.. this car is a reproduction of a 1965 Shelby Cobra 427. it is not a replica. it is fully built, licensed, and sold by Shelby. if you were to buy a car just like this, it will run you almost the same price as an original 1965 Shelby Cobra 427.

a Shelby cobra crashed in france after doing 3 flip on the side and landing upside down and the cobra was at a speed of 260 Km/h
and the pilot and co pilot had some small injuries :)

Shelby Cobra - Way Too Much Fun!
Go to: http://www.kitcarconnection.com - I spotted my first Shelby Cobra 427 S/C back in the summer of 1979. I knew INSTANTLY that one day I had to have one of these cars. I have now enjoyed mine since 2005 and she is way more fun than I ever would have expected.
The car is a Factory Five Racing MkII Roadster and was hand-built in Calgary, Alberta throughout 2004 and delivered to my driveway January 2005. The car is powered with a 302 crate engine from Western Motorsports in Calgary, Alberta.
I based the *look* of the Cobra replicar on Allen English's car in Portland, Oregon. That car was unfortunately wrecked in a crash in the summer of in 2008. Not too worry, he's okay and now driving a beautiful blue CAV GT40 (aka Ford GT 40 replica).
This video was captured by my son Justin as we cruised around South Surrey and White Rock, BC Canada. It was produced for me as a gift by a good friend Phil Watkins.
