Her first time in a Porsche 911 GT3!
Inspired by the Porsche 997.2 GT3 introduction video, I wanted to try and create something similar using my GT3. The person in the video is a great friend; she's such a great sport.
This was her first time as a passenger in my car on the track. I think the video says more than anything I can write here. Hope you enjoy it :)

Walter Röhrl & I: in a Porsche GT3 (997 MKII) on the Nürburgring Nordschleife - May 27th, 2009
Walter & I: in-car camera of the best race track in the world: the Nürburgring Nordschleife with the man who o.k.'s every new Porsche that leaves the Porsche factories.
If you do not know who Walter Röhrl is, just google him. Nuff said.
This was a childhood dream come true. I never expected to ever meet the man, much less to spend a lap with him on his playground.
I have done everything, I ever wanted to do in my life.
for all the experts out there who have been at the ring:
we did a timed lap of about 7:25 minutes. I substracted about 6 seconds for the traffic we hit and the delayed acceleration after the bilstein bridge. At Schwedenkreuz we hit 260 kph right before the 100kph turn into Aremberg. at the end of Fuchsröhre we hit 240kph.
The funny thing is, I was wearing a helmet, he was not...

FVD is proud to introduce our newest line of Brombacher Exhaust systems. Brombacher Exhausts are engineered for the discerning Porsche® owner and offer unmatched performance, unparalleled quality, and incredible value. All of our Exhausts are manufactured in Germany and are tested comprehensively for flow rate and characteristics, thermal stress, resistance to cracking, and longevity. To further ensure quality, all of our Exhaust systems meet the standards of the German independent testing agency TÜV; whose quality standards are among some of the strictest in the world.
The Brombacher 997GT3 Race Exhaust give GT3s an intoxicating growl across the rev range and eliminates unwanted frequencies and ensures no resonance or drone in the cabin. The end result is a strong, linear, firing-order dominated flat-6 Porsche® sound. In addition, Brombacher Exhausts systems are available for ultimate performance full titanium. Each of our Exhausts have been extensively tested on both a chassis and engine Dyno as well as logged thousands of miles on both the street and at the track. All this research, development and testing ensures maximum horsepower gains throughout a broad power band; all while maintaining reasonable sound levels for the street and provide a distinct, sporty Exhaust note that is purely Porsche®.
Like all European Vehicles, FVD parts are TÜV approved. What is TÜV approval you ask? Basically, German-registered road vehicles may not be operated on public roads without a certificate from the TÜV. Also, all modifications must be approved, from installing tires of a different size to materials used in nuts and bolts. TÜV's safety guidelines are among the strictest in the world, and getting a road permit for thoroughly customized vehicles borders on the impossible.
We strongly suggest replacing worn gaskets and hardware with our pre-packaged installation kits.
FVDs parts passed these criteria in order to obtain the TÜV stamp of approval:
Corrosion Test Exterior metal parts (ie Exhaust, brakes, rims, etc.) must undergo a HCL (Hydrocloric Acid) bath, which speeds up the corrosion process. This ensures long lasting, highly durable parts which benefit the end consumer.
Extreme Temperature Test Items are put through 40 degrees Celcius to + 85 degrees Celcius sudden temperature change. This test ensures that material expansion and contraction does not cause cracking or material inconsistency.
Material Analysis Chemical and Microscopic material analysis is done to determine the correct percentages of Iron, Zinc and many other elements. This also ensures material consistencey and longevity.
Exhaust Temperature Test Exhaust items are also put through a series of extremely high temperature tests in order to assure the consumer that parts can withstand cracking and splitting. Test temperatures exceed 1,400 degrees Celcius!! For reference normal Exhaust gas temperatures are only 800 degrees Celcius.
FVD Exhaust Systems Carry A 2 Year Warranty!.

LOUD Porsche 997 GT3RS X-ost Exhaust SOUND
This is the loudest Porsche GT3RS i have ever filmed! Well, this is the second time i record this amazing black german beast with orange stripes and X-Ost Exhaust. First i record some revs, then some loud fly bys and accelerations, with also some chase scenes from a GT3 mk2.
Porsche 911 GT3 vs. Porsche Carrera GT | Sound
made this due to a recent C&C where about 20 GT3's showed up and 5 cgts. Everytime i heard a gt3 leave it had me posturing that it was my favorite sounding car, but then the CGT was right there to reaffirm it will always be the best.
*added in a few of my more memorable take offs, just in case for some reason you dont think the greatest sounding car ever, the CGT, sounds the best.
*also shout out to VRalexander for starting one of the greatest automotive trends ever - black on black CGT's with AWE straight pipes - clearly quite a number of black CGT owners have caught on from the amount in this video.
2010 Porsche 911 GT3 gets the MotorFanatic treatment
One of the best things in the world, is a drive along the coast. No matter who you are, or what your driving. Put your ass in a 2010 Porsche GT3 and it's just stupid. It really is unbeatable. Here it is.
