Competitors: Nissan Murano & Toyota Venza What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Edge: Since 2007 the Ford Edge has been on the market and now in it's 7th model year it's been a while since Ford did a major redesign on it, however Ford did Heavily refresh the Edge in 2011. Power in the Edge comes from a nice healthy 3.5 L V6 or you can get a 3.7 L V6 and all come with a 6-Speed Automatic with All wheel Drive being available. The ride and handling in the Edge are very composed and it is quite a pleasure. Trims range from the base SE to the Sport Model topping out at about $37,000. The Edge is great for a family of 5 and is sure to fit the bill, however make sure to check out the Nissan Murano. If a roomy comfortable SUV with a nice ride and nice handling are your main attributes for sure the Edge is a smart choice.
