2012 Porsche Panamera Test Drive & Luxury Sports Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/porsche/panamera/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Porsche
Panamera is an interesting combination of automotive delicacies. The
Panamera is one part sports car, one part luxury car, one part hatchback,
and one part sedan. Over the past decade, Porsche has created a few unique
vehicles to target a broad range of car buyers. The Boxster is aimed at the
entry level sports car enthusiast while the Cayenne is aimed at those
looking for a quick SUV. But the Panamera offers 911 performance with a
usable back seat. The 2012 Porsche Panamera can range from $75,200 for the
base model all the way to $173,200 for the top of the line turbo S model.
The vehicle tested in this video is the base model Panamera 4 (AWD). It is
powered by a lightweight and direct injected 3.6 liter V-6 engine that
makes 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of
torque. The transmission is the famous PDK twin-cutch 7-speed unit that
shifts lighting quick. Fuel economy on the 2012 Porsche Panamera is 18 MPG
in the city and 26 MPG on the highway thanks in part to an auto start/stop
system which shuts down the engine while the car is sitting idle. Sixty MPH
flies by in 5.8 seconds and the Panamera 4 has a top speed of 159 MPH. The
Panamera handles incredibly well thanks to the Porsche Traction Management
system. The AWD monitors driving situations and can adjust power as need.
The Panamera is equipped with Anti-Slip Regulation and Automatic Brake
Porsche Active Suspension Management is optional on the Panamera 4. This
system provides electronic dampening at all 4 corners of the car thus
reducing body roll and increasing handling. The system will also tighten up
the setting based on the selection of modes: Comfort, Sport, and Sport
Plus. The rims are 18-inch alloys wrapped in sticky rubber. The 2012
Porsche Panamera comes with huge 360 mm brakes up front and 330 mm brakes
out back. The calipers are six-piston units. Safety wise besides all the
electronic computer controlled systems, the Panamera 4 features a full
compliment of 2-stage airbags for both the front and rear passengers.
With the rear seats up the Panamera has a luggage compartment with over 15
cubic feet of storage space. But with he seats down the hatchback design
allows for over 44 cubic feet of cargo room which is a large amount for
this segment. And believe it or not the 2012 Porsche Panamera can tow up to
4850 lbs. The Panamera is a very efficient and powerful sports car that
offers a high level of luxury and sophistication while being able to
transport 4 passengers in style.

http://www.autobytel.com/audi/a7/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Audi A7 Sportback
can also be called a 4-door coupe. It has raised a lot of eyebrows since
debuting last year. The A7 is arguably one of the best looking luxury cars
on the market. The design is very dramatic and the overall look of the A7
is sporty. This luxury car will surely get you noticed.
The 2012 Audi A7 is powered by a 3.0 liter direct injected V-6 that makes
310 horsepower and
325 lb-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed transmission that
help the A7 achieve 18 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. The 2012
Audi A7 can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 5.3 seconds.
Audi is known as one of the greatest innovators when it comes to vehicle
technology. And the 2012 Audi A7 incorporates a ton of great features and
gadgetry. LED headlights are all the rage these days. And Audi really
brought these to mainstream motoring. Now every company is trying to
imitate Audi LED lights. Well the A7 comes with the latest LED headlight
and taillight technology. Audi MMI Navigation plus is a full Multi-Media
Interface that features an 8-inch LCD screen. All radio, navigation, and
phone functions are operated through this easy to use interface. Audi
connect essentially give you access to the internet via WiFi. The driver
and passenger seats are 12-way adjustable and include a heating feature.
At $59,250 the Audi A7 is much more expensive than the similarly equipped
Audi A6. So why all the fuss about the new A7? Well this car looks
downright sexy! Not many cars in recent years from this segment look so
unique. The 2012 Audi A7 is a real head turner. It is a sophisticated
4-door personal sports car. If you want to stand out from the crowd of
traditional luxury car drivers then there is no better way than to do it
with the 2012 Audi A7 Sportback.

2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mercedes-benz/c-class/2012/?id=32972 Move over
BMW the 2012 Mercedes C-Class is the top dog this time around. The
Mercedes C-Class Coupe comes in 3 different trim levels: the base C250
Coupe, the C350 Coupe, and the awesome C63 AMG Coupe. The C-Class also
offers a couple of sedan trims but it's the sport coupe models that are the
most popular. No matter which Coupe trim level you pick; the cars all
benefit from the sporty AMG look.
The big news is that the C250 comes with a turbocharged 1.8 liter engine. This is the first
time in over a decade that Mercedes-Benz has offered a 4-cylinder engine.
This little peppy engine produces over 200 horsepower while getting 21
MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway. The Mercedes C350 Coupe gets a
direct injected 3.5 liter V-6 that puts out 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of
torque. The C350 gets 19 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. And
finally for the power hungry there is the C63 AMG model. This monster 6.2
liter V-8 engine puts out 481 horsepower and 442 lb-ft. of
torque while managing 13 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway.
The base price for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe is $34,800 with the
C63 AMG model costing $61,420.

My statement "BMW is the new Mercedes" may have ruffled the most feathers,
but the second thing that gets thrown in my face is: "what then is
Mercedes?" I'm sorry if the forum fanboys can't adjust to the new normal
that is a softer, more civilized, more luxurious BMW that puts comfort over
balls-out performance. Sometimes you just have to let the ostrich keep its
head in the hole. But this isn't about BMW, this is about the German luxury
company. What of them? To find out we were tossed the keys to a six-figure
beast for a week.

Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG
Mercedes-Benz S 550 / S 500
We had the chance to drive the all new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG (V222)
for three days in the surrounds of Bielefeld and Dortmund. Here is our In
Depth Review of the strongest Mercedes-Benz S-Class, 2014 Mercedes-Benz S
65 AMG (V222). We enjoyed our test drive with the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S 65
AMG (V222), we hope you will like our video review as well. Make sure you
dont miss the Start Up and the Exhaust
intro about the car
With the introduction of the W140 in 1991 in Geneva, Mercedes introduced a
12 cylinder engine in a S-Class for the first time, reacting to BMW effort
with the 7 series top modell. In 2004 Mercedes introduced the first S65 AMG
(after they already offered a AMG powered V12 in the S55 AMG). Last year I
was able to be part of the world premiere of the new S-Class, now be called
222 series and the debut of the all new S 65 AMG which had its debut at the
LA auto show 2013.
Let me get the facts out of the way first. The S65 AMG has a fine 6 Liter
V12 engine (for those Mercedes freaks - its the M279) that comes with 630
hp. Between 2.300-4.300 rpm it gives you a maximum torque of 1.000 Nm -
equals 738 foot pound of torque. All this power goes right to the rear.
Even though the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG weights 2250 kg (which equals 4960
pound), it accelarates from 0 to 100 km/h or even from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3
seconds. The topspeed is reached at 250 km/h / 155 mph - unless you spend
some extra bucks on the AMG drivers package - doing that your speed rush
will not end before reaching the 300 km/h, or 186 mph.
Ok, you can close your mouth and dream on. At least in Germany, you need at
least 232.050 Euros or 222.000 U$ to buy a S65 AMG. But then you have a
whole bunch of premium options included that you pay for extra on the
regular s-class for instance the AIR-BALANCE package, the Burmester High
End 3D-Surround Soundsystem with the COMAND Online infotainment-System, the
LED Intelligent Light System, Park-Assist package, MAGIC VISION CONTROL,
SPLITVIEW, the seat package with the massage functions and the panoramic
Mercedes builds an 80 Liter (21 gallons) tank in the S65 AMG and says you
can get a milage of 19.8 mpg (equals 11.9 liters for 100 kilometers). So in
theory at least, you should be able to drive a distance of 600 km / 373
miles without getting gas. Honestly, I even believe it is possible, but
then ... who would buy this car to drive it all slow and carefully instead
of just making the V12 roar. Yeah right, and not disable the ECO-Start
Just to rund up those numbers and figures - the S65 AMG only comes as the
long version called V222 (the short version is the W222) and it is 5.29m
long (17 feet 5 inch), 2.13m wide (7 feet) including the mirrors and its
height is 1.5m (5 feet). It has a turn radius of 12.3m (40 feet 5 inch).
Overall you are allowed to store up to 500 kg (1102 pound) in the car.
