Pe forumul Daciaclub au fost prezentate primele şi singurele poze cu un prototip foarte interesant pregătit de cei de la Dacia. În 1997 oficialii români au comandat la designerii italieni de la Idea Torino o maşină de dimensiuni compacte, cu 4 uşi, capabilă să acomodeze 5 oameni. Aceasta avea să fie vândută la un preţ de 5000 de dolari şi urma să înlocuiască modelul Nova.
Precum se poate vedea din poze, designul era unul foarte modern pentru acele vremuri, dar peste care a ajuns să se pună praful chiar şi la propriu. Asta pentru că prototipul a fost uitat într-un depozit după ce Renault a achiziţionat Dacia. Ce s-a întâmplat după aceea ştim cu toţii.
