WILD '09 BIG BLOCK CHEVY POWERED SMART CAR AT RT66 4-26-14
Mark Cryer testing his mild 462ci big block chevy powered '09 Smart Car with full custom 8.50 certified chrome moly frame and Ford 9" rearend. First run in video is an 11.74 @113.76 and then Mark and his son Nick changed front springs and made adjustments to shocks to try to get it to wheelie higher as you see in the second run. Best run of the day was a 11.72@114.43. You have to see the car in person to appreciate the quality of the conversion. You either Love it or Hate it!

It is a "street friendly" 10:1 all forged, mechanical roller with too many goodies to list . It sounds crazy and I can't wait to feel the tire shreading performance.

This is definitely one awesome beast. It's powered by a full roller Gen 5 454 Big-block Chevy, topped with a Weiand 8-71 Blower and a Big Stuff 3 fuel injection system. All that power is funneled through a turbo 400 Automatic with a 2800 stall converter and a Cheetah SCS shifter. Out back, there's a 9 inch Ford rear with 4.10 gears and Posi.
