1927 Ford: Double-Trouble -- /BIG MUSCLE
• Gordon Tronson
In the world of hot-rodding there are few cars that are going to leave as
big an impression as this - the 1927 Ford Model T custom simply known as
"Double-Trouble". It rides on a custom-built tube chassis that's fabricated
from 1.5-inch tube. Is powered by two 4.6-liter modular V8s from Ford with
four, count 'em, FOUR Superchargers for
an approximate power output of around 1,200 hp. It also utilizes the
rear-end (inboard disc brakes and all) from an early Jaguar. It's a rolling
a Hot Wheels car and a masterpiece of engineering that is sure to make all
your naughty bits tingle.
New project - Focus MK2 '05 - bumper
Started working on new bumper design. Trying to make front of Euro '05
Focus to look like cross between WRC Focus and Focus ST 2012. Fog lights
are going to be from 2008 Ford C-Max. Had some inspiration from good lad
from US working on widebody 300ZX, kerrmann
That's his channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/kerrmann
and that's where I was getting some advice from other good lads
really worth checking out ;)
1979 Ford Fairmont a Closer Look -EricTheCarGuy
Many of you have been asking me about Fairmont videos so I thought I would
make this one where I take a closer look at what I have to work with. I
also talk about some of my plans for this car going forward. I think I have
a really nice 'shell' to work with. I have my work cut out for me that's
for sure, but as I say in the video, that will just make for more
interesting videos. For now, I think I'll drive it. It's a good car after
all. A few minor issues, but nothing to really worry about. I may do some
of the repairs such as the inner tie rod in an upcoming video. I just need
to work out the alignment when I'm done. Looks like an easy job though,
easier than some of the other power steering rack stuff I've done. Anyway,
enjoy the video.
