68 Camaro SS/RS 396 "The Evil Twin" Drag Race Wheelstand

This is some old video of my old 68 Camaro Drag Car I called "The Evil Twin" @ the Phoenix, AZ Super Chevy Show in 2000. The car was all steel except the hood and weighed 3305 lbs with me in it. It ran a best that weekend of 10.30 @ 129.87 mph. Sorry for the quality, I tried to record it from an old well used VHS tape.

3200hp MONSTER Turbo Camaro!?!?
Did he just say 3,200 horsepower?! With a 622 cubic inch motor powered by TWO 98mm turbos, we'd believe it! Talk about managing power on an UN-PREPPED track!!! With a combination of driving skills, and proper tuning, this 3rd Gen Camaro has a MONSTROUS power plant under the hood and the car & driver are about as consistent as it gets for pushing up to 3,200hp, but we’re guessing it was turned down quite a bit for this no prep race. Even the championship race looked like a first round elimination!! We loved filming this car and hearing the deafening 98mm turbos spool seconds before the front wheels took flght! Congrats to the driver and crew and best wishes to them at future grudge races! ------------------------------------ 1320Video Gear ► http://www.1320video.com/shop/ Facebook ► http://facebook.com/1320videos Instagram ► https://instagram.com/1320video/ Twitter ► https://twitter.com/1320video Submit your video to us ►http://goo.gl/forms/TbQPwl9qFq
