Porsche's 12 Hours of Sebring
The 2010 12 Hours of Sebring marks the 50th anniversary of Hans Herrmann's victory at the legendary event in his 1960 Porsche RS 60. This year, the pair of Flying Lizard Porsche GT3 RSRs are on hand to defend their 2009 championship title. Jörg Bergmeister and Patrick Long, both Porsche factory drivers, discuss what it's like to race at Sebring and to be part the Porsche driver legacy. It was a close battle in GT2 last year between the Lizards and Corvette Racing, making this year all that more important. Also on hand for this year's race is Hans Herrmann, the first Porsche driver to win the Overall victory at Le Mans. Hans talks with Patrick and Jörg while at Sebring about the changes in the racetrack over the past 50 years and how motorsports as a whole has changed.

Nouvelle Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet
La nouvelle Carrera GTS est lancée en deux versions : coupé et cabriolet. La capote pliante de la 911 découvrable s'ouvre et se ferme en 20 secondes seulement dans une séquence entièrement automatique déclenchée par simple pression d'un bouton. Quant à la couleur de la capote pliante, le client a le choix. La lunette arrière est en verre, elle est chauffante. Un coupe-vent fait partie de la dotation standard, alors qu'un hard top en aluminium est disponible en option. Le peaufinage aérodynamique ressort bien sur les lèvres aérodynamiques du bouclier avant et des revêtements des bas de caisse. Elles optimisent l'écoulement de l'air sous la voiture et autour d'elle. Même à vitesse très élevée, la voiture affiche ainsi un comportement routier sûr et stable sans impact négatif sur la consommation. Le coefficient de pénétration dans l'air (cx) du coupé GTS à boîte mécanique est de 0,30 ; sur la version à boîte PDK, il passe à 0,31 en raison du besoin accru en air de refroidissement de la boîte à double embrayage. In homage to the first Porsche model that bore the name Speedster -- the 356 Speedster -- the production run for the new model is limited to 356 cars. The two-seater, with a power output of 408 HP (300 kW) like the Carrera GTS, differs significantly from the other members of the 911 family. In the best tradition, the 60 milli - metre lower, more angled windscreen, the flat contour of the sporty-look manual hood and the characteristic double scoop on the convertible-top compartment lid define the striking profile of the new 911 Speedster. That gives an even more imposing look to the body of this rear-wheel-drive car, with its extra 44 millimetres of width at the rear. The sporty flavour is further enhanced by the exterior colour "Pure Blue" that has been de - veloped exclusively for the Speedster, providing an intriguing contrast with the tinted front lights, black headlight rings, black windscreen surround and other black applications. It also features a special front apron, specific side skirts and a distinct rear apron. Part of the 911 Speedster's appeal also comes from its meticulously hand-finished interior in smooth-finish black leather with numerous details exclusive to the Speedster in the exterior colour. [06/10/2010 11:31:37] Thierry Truck: The new Carrera GTS will be launched onto the market as Coupé and Cabriolet. The conver - tible top of the open-topped 911 can be opened and closed fully automatically in just 20 se - conds at the push of a button up to a speed of 50 km/h (32 mph). The colour of the con - vertible top can be freely selected; its rear window is manufactured from glass and can be heated. A wind deflector is fitted as standard; an aluminium hard top is available as special equipment. The detailed aerodynamic work can be seen on the spoiler edges on the front apron and the sideskirt trims. These optimise the air flow beneath the vehicle and lateral flow around the vehicle. This guarantees stable and safe handling without negative influences on con - sumption even at very high speeds. The drag coefficient (Cd) of the GTS Coupé with manual transmission is 0.30; with PDK, it increases to 0.31 due to the increased cooling required by the PDK. The convertible always has a Cd value of 0.31.
