This is the second year I have owned the GSX and this is its second season modded. From last year alot of things have changed, and to my friends and the few subscribers, here are the updates on the car.
I know last year I was planning on Drag Stripping it but the idea of going down a line didn't sound fun, and the idea of road racing Leguna Seca was alot more appealing. The Evo brake swap was probably the most difficult of the installs mostly because of the gathering of parts, and a seperate video was made for that.
As for next year, I have the G4CS block, 1G head, and other 6 bolt parts required for a 2.4 liter DSM. The FP 3052 turbo is a Dual Ball Bearing turbocharger that will hit full Boost right around 3500 RPM on a 2.4l, the perfect size turbo for spooling quick around a road course. the FP 3150 is still a possibility for even faster spool, but after months of debate, I still won't be able to pick until I finally make the call to order one of them.

1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX - GSseX Season 3
This is the Season 3 video for GSseX. This is primarily an engine build video as that is what took place the majority of its "third" season. The vehicle is now a 2.4l G4CS powered torque machine!
Staying in line with my goals for this car to be a competitive road race car, I have completed an engine appropriate for the road course. This was my first engine build, and it was complicated by doing a 6 bolt swap just to complicate things. However, with a factory service manual, DSMtuners, and some dedication, the engine turned over without any complications. The engine has been broken in on a 16g turbo for about 500 miles and is running just fine!
There is a new fp3052 turbo ready to go onto the car, and with any luck, I'll finish preparing the car for inspection and FINALLY have a "season" video with some race course action! I have yet to launch or really get on the new engine, so I dont even know what it is capable of yet, but from the acceleration it gave me at even partial throttle, it is scary. I can't wait to turn up the Boost on its new turbo :)

This is just a quick video showing progress on the new engine for the GSX. The vehicle still isn't driven and there is a huge laundry list of fixes left for it before it can make it out to the track. There are a few sponsorships in the works, which is good because there are still tons of things that need to be done to get this car safe, properly tuned, and tech sheet legal and ready for its first track day.

1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX build - GSseX
I am not claiming to be the fastest or coolest DSM, just wanting to show off and be proud of what I got. This is DSM number 5, and hopefully my last. I started off transferring many parts from my 97 GST to the GSX, and when I get more money for more parts, I will retune and hit up the track.
Yes, I know I need to lower it, yes I know I need to paint my side skirts, yes I know I can't shift worth shit, don't wanna hear it.
