Tja, da mein Dad meine RVC in meinem Golf 5 gesehen hat und fragte, ob das in seinem Caddy auch möglich ist (Flügeltürer), hab ich mich mal hingesetzt und an den Einbau gemacht. Ich hab eine Original-Cam von VW, den Nachrüstkabelsatz vom Golf Plus und ein RCD 510 mit Anschlussmöglichkeit für die Cam verwendet. Ein paar Kabel kommen noch hinzu, man muss eine kurze Verlängerung des RGB- und Stromanschlusses realisieren.

This system is offered in combination with one of the radio-navigation systems (RNS 315, RNS 510); here, the camera image is transmitted to its video-capable touchscreen. As soon as reverse gear is engaged, the camera scans the space behind the Sharan. Here too, OPS can be activated in tandem.
Camera images are transmitted directly to the touchscreen in real time. The path travelled by the vehicle is shown with orientation lines. With the rear-view camera, even the smallest of obstacles behind the vehicle can be detected quite well. In addition, Rear Assist simplifies the operation of connecting a trailer. A dedicated processor mirrors the camera image, so that it appears in the Sharan's touchscreen just as when looking in the rear-view mirrors -- left, left and right, and right.
