A video compilation demonstrating the 2-step "launch control" feature of my custom VAST performance Stage 3 Frankenturbo tune. When the vehicle is stopped, the rev limit is set at 4,400 RPM for consistent launching. While holding this RPM, the turbos can produce up to about 6 psi with no load. With this setup, 0-60 mph times in the high 3's are obtainable with a quick 1-2 shift. The S4 also has piggie downpipes and a Borla single 3 inch Exhaust system. Some bonus footage of a coworker who had never ridden in a semi-fast car before is also included. :-) *edit* Unfortunately the girl in this video has passed away of Cystic Fibrosis (4/20/2013). RIP. This is a walk around of the S4. I was letting it idle up to temp for a few other videos I was shooting on a very hot and humid day, thus condensation in the Exhaust. This is to show the car is in good nic and has good overall paint reflectivity. Please note scrapes under the front bumper, and stone spray on the lower rockers. Car recently had every single imaginable part under the hood replaced. Audi B5 S4 passing an E39 BMW M5 on the Autobahn at over 260 km/h - 160 mph...
Silly BMW M5 driver was holding me up and didn't get out of the way. :-) I pulled away from him easily in 6th gear until coming up on traffic... To be honest, I was following way too close for that speed and probably pissed him off. This video was taken many years ago, I don't drive like that anymore.
