Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo - Official Statement
Following the incident in yesterdays round four of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, after which the race was cancelled, a unanimous decision has been taken by all teams today to cancel the remainder of the weekends racing.
The driver of car number 22, Giorgio Bartocci, was taken to hospital following an accident at the start of the first race of the weekend. He remains in intensive care in hospital in Brno, where his condition is currently stable.
Rounds four, five and six of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo are therefore officially cancelled.

Ferrari Graveyard: Video of 14 supercar pile-up in Japan
An outing of luxury sports car enthusiasts in Japan ended in an expensive freeway pileup - smashing a stunning eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini and two Mercedes.
Police say they believe the accident Sunday was touched off when the driver of one of the Ferraris tried to change lanes and hit the median barrier. He spun across the freeway, and the other cars collided while trying to avoid hitting his car.

Note: This crash was a total disaster for the firefighters on the track.
Giorgio was trapped inside his burning Lamborghini for almost a minute before one of his crew members who did not wear a fireproof suit and got his face burned could pull him out.
Giorgio is still recovering from his injuries.

Lamborghini Murcielago crashing into palm tree In Beverly Hills

Back in March of 2009 I was in Beverly Hills with my friend cruising around looking at cars. While we were waiting at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Sunset Blvd I saw this very rare 40th anniversary coming down the road and since I already had a video camera in hand I decided to film it coming through the intersection. After the car made the turn I left the camera on to record audio of the Murcielago accelerating when I was shocked to look back and see the car spinning out and crashing!!! This was like something out of a bad movie so I immediately ran to the car to make sure the driver wasn't injured. Thankfully he wasn't but unfortunately the car was totaled :(

First Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Crash In Italy (New Pictures) | August 2011

A few weeks ago the world heard about the very first Lamborghini Aventador crash, which was wrecked by Austrian journalists at Autorevue.at. The white press car was used by Top Gear to do their road test of the Italian bull. The magazine stated:
"We are not proud of it, but we crashed the first ever Lamborghini Aventador. Austrian Bestseller-Author Thomas Glavinic, who is writing for our sportscar-issue was driving the Lamborghini Aventador. We were heading towards Adria Raceway, a racetrack in Italy. Then the crash happened. Thomas was not too fast. A truck, which changed the lines, just hit him."
The Aventador ended up in a ditch next to a rural road in the province of Padua. The Aventador suffered some serious damage to the front wheels in the crash but the carbon fiber monocoque stayed completely intact.

BMW M3 E46 Roll-over crash in Nürburgring VLN race
I pull the trusty pocketcam out just as the first few drops of rain fall on Wehrseifen. An E46 driver loses control on the entry to the corner, and ends up rolling all the way around. Race was the VLN #2 of 2012 and this was only the second lap of a four-hour event!
