Datsun 240z vs Nissan GTR
This is a homebuilt twin turbo " blow through " system on a 409 cubic inch Chevy small block engine in a 72 Datsun 240 z. The car is Street Legal due to emission excemptions and is used for cruising, car shows, and drag racing. It is a Sleeper since it uses a full Exhaust system and mufflers.

50psi boost 1200+hp Nissan RB30 - Ethanol E98
Nissan RB30 SOHC 3L engine built and tuned by JPC making over 1200hp on Ethanol fuel. The engine still retains a factory block and crank. Improvements come from a custom JPC turbocharger, manifolding, roller rockers and cam gear. Fuel is fed via ID2000cc injectors and an Autronic computer system. This engine has previously run 8.79 at 160.25mph (with less power) in a full weight (3250lb) Holden VL commodore through stock suspension, Powerglide transmission, 9in rear end and 28x9in slicks. www.JPC.com.au Johnsons Performance Centre http://www.facebook.com/fullBoostcomau http://www.youtube.com/user/fullBoostcomau http://www.fullBoost.com.au

1972 Fairlady 240 Z
Lance Lambert from The Vintage Vehicle Show visits the Datsun Heritage Museum in Murrieta, California. Here he looks at a 1972 Fairlady 240Z (same as Datsun 240Z outside the U.S.) with the museum's director, Fred Jordan, who was also the manager of the first Datsun dealership in the United States. The late Fred Jordan, who started up this Datsun Museum, gave erroneous information as has been stated here a multitude of times. The museum has closed. We keep the video up so people can view the car. The correct info on the car has been posted numerous times here. Please don't waste our time telling us the info is incorrect; instead we welcome your comments about the car and any correct information you wish to provide.

1972 Datsun 240Z run. (One last good time before I sold it)
Right before I sold it... Clicking noise is a leak in the balancing tube (welded day after this video) Some sloppy shifts due to slack in the rear end and un-adjusted clutch with cracked clutch arm bracket. I loved/love this car! So much fun to drive...

Junkyard Turbo Swap! Chevy-Powered 1971 Datsun 240Z Autocross Thrash - Roadkill Ep. 26
What do you get when you cross a rusted 1971 Datsun 240Z with a Chevy 4.3L V6 and a turbo from a Ford Power Stroke Diesel? The Rotsun! During Roadkill Episode 25, Freiburger and Finnegan revived the Rotsun expecting it to dominate in the 9-car autocross showdown of previous Roadkill project cars. It also needed to beat a 2014 Kia Rio 5, but failed to do so with the Rotsun shamefully breaking down before completing a decent lap. So in this episode: revenge. After swapping in the mismatched turbo and making nearly 400 rear-wheel horsepower, the guys head to the autocross at the Goodguys 5th Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona and mingle with fans on their way to a rematch with that dastardly Kia. Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=motortrend Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/RoadkillShow, http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & http://facebook.com/hotrodmag Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/hotrodmagazine Google+ - https://plus.google.com/1018679678590...
