2014 Lexus IS Review and Track Test (IS 250, IS 350 and F-Sport models)
Every car company hates the BMW 3-Series. It's always the benchmark, always the sales champion, always the golden boy. BMW shifted nearly 100,000 3-Series models in America last year and they did so not by being "the best" luxury sedan, but by pandering to the shopping public's desires. Buyers have shown they want a comfy ride with a luxury logo on the front, they want good fuel economy and they want to hear journalists say how well the car handles on a track. The average buyer will never be on a track, but it's critical to know your car belongs there. The old IS was a good car on the track, but its demure looks sold more on Lexus' reliability and dealer reputation than the car's track diaries. As we know from Volvo and Lexus' sales numbers in this segment, two things don't move metal: reliability and safety. For 2014 Lexus went back to the drawing board completely redesigning the IS sedan to be their most dynamic sedan ever. Does it have what it takes to take on the Germans and Infiniti's new Q50? Welcome back for this special Real Auto Reports Real First Impressions Video. This time we take a quick look at the all-new 2014 Lexus IS Family of Luxury Sports Compact Sedans. For 2014, the IS250 & IS 350 have undergone significant change not only to the body and exterior design, but to the interior and handling.

2008 Lexus IS-F Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
Well ever since I did the video on the 2011 IS-F I have been on a search for the famous ultrasonic blue mica that had been featured in all the original press releases for the IS-F upon it's release. Plus I wanted a more smooth orchestrated video that taught viewers a little more about the history behind the car, my search is over and I hope everyone enjoys! In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2008 Lexus IS-F. This car is also part of the vast hendrick performance collection. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

My first lap in Lexus IS F at Las Vegas Speedway
My first lap around the road course at LV Speedway in IS F. Neutral handling, incredible power and Brembo brakes. 8-speed direct shift auto transmission changes gears in .1sec. Even though I love manual gearbox there is no argument that for shaving the last fraction of a second from your lap time this is the way to go. Shifts are direct, immediate and smooth, no waiting. Downshifts are just as quick with the "blip" perfectly mimmicking well executed heel-and-toe. SMG and dual-clutch trans don't compare. Plus, this is a Lexus, street ride is smooth and quiet.
