Let it be known I cheated. I started in 2nd and he started in 3rd. He was catching up fast. That is one FAST FAST evo. On a Dyno log he makes 458 at the wheels. Its amazing what a GT30/76R size FP red turbo, and 31 psi on E85 will do for a evo x. Both cars are VERY quick.
The following was a spirited acceleration from 5 mph to 45 mph on a 45 mph road. :-)

Build a Locost 7: Step 1 - Fabricate the Frame
Building a Locost 7 frame, at 240x speed acceleration. This is the start
of my build and represents roughly 50 hours of work between 4/21 and
4/28/2007 to construct the basic frame. Run at roughly 1000x fast forward,
